Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me is a 1999 action comedy film and the second film in the Austin Powers series. It is preceded by the original film, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and followed by Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). The film was directed by Jay Roach, co-written by Mike Myers and screenwriter Michael McCullers, and once again stars Myers as the title character. Myers also plays Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard. The film`s title is a play on the 1977 Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me and contains plot elements from The Pink Panther Strikes Again and the other James Bond films, Diamonds Are Forever (laser gun plot), You Only Live Twice (secret volcano base), Moonraker (outer space), The Man with the Golden Gun (Mini-Me based on character Nick Nack) and On Her Majesty`s Secret Service (opening sequence in which it turns out that Vanessa Kensington was a fembot). The film grossed around US$310 million in worldwide ticket sales, taking more money during its opening weekend than the entire box office proceeds of its predecessor. It was nominated at the 72nd Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Makeup (Michèle Burke and Mike Smithson). Directed by Jay Roach Produced by Jan Blenkin John S. Lyons Eric McLeod Demi Moore Mike Myers Written by Mike Myers Michael McCullers Based on Characters Created by by Mike Myers Starring Mike Myers Heather Graham Michael York Robert Wagner Seth Green Mindy Sterling Rob Lowe Elizabeth Hurley Music by George S. Clinton Cinematography Peter Deming Edited by Debra Neil-Fisher Jon Poll Production company Eric`s Boy Moving Pictures Team Todd Distributed by New Line Cinema Release dates June 11, 1999 Running time 95 minutes Country United States Language English, German Plot Austin Powers is enjoying his honeymoon with his wife, the former Vanessa Kensington. She turns out to be one of Dr. Evil`s fembots, who attempts to kill Austin, then self-destructs. Austin grieves briefly, then proceeds to the hotel lobby nude and celebrates being single again. A NATO monitoring facility observes the return of Dr. Evil and informs British intelligence. At Dr. Evil`s Seattle headquarters, Dr. Evil is presented with a one-eighth-size clone of himself whom he calls Mini-Me. Dr. Evil unveils his latest evil plan: he has developed a time machine to go back to the 1960s and steal Austin`s mojo, the source of Austin`s sexual appeal. Dr. Evil and Mini-Me go back to 1969 and meet a younger Number Two and Frau Farbissina. An obese `Scottish Guard` called Fat Bastard extracts Austin`s mojo from his frozen body at the Ministry of Defence Cryo Chamber. British intelligence warns Austin that one of Dr. Evil`s agents is after him, and during a photo shoot the wanton Ivana Humpalot seduces him, but at the last moment she claims he is too sexy for her to kill him. They have sex in his bed, but do not get far before he discovers that he has lost his mojo and is impotent. The MOD sends Austin back to 1969 with its own time travel device, a convertible Volkswagen New Beetle. Austin arrives at a party in his London pad and with the assistance of a CIA agent, Felicity Shagwell, escapes an assassination attempt by two of Dr. Evil`s operatives. Austin and Felicity are pursued by Mustafa, another of Dr. Evil`s henchmen; when caught he reveals the existence of Dr. Evil`s secret volcano lair. Before he can divulge its location, Mini-Me shoots him in the neck with a dart, causing him to fall off a cliff. After examining photographs from the crime scene at MOD headquarters, Austin identifies Fat Bastard as the perpetrator of the theft of his mojo. At Dr. Evil`s lair, Fat Bastard arrives with Austin`s mojo. Dr. Evil drinks some of it and has sex with Frau Farbissina. This results in an awkward situation when Frau reveals that she is pregnant. At the same moment Scott, Dr. Evil`s son, arrives through the time portal. Dr. Evil announces his latest plan — to hold the world ransom by threatening to destroy major cities each hour, using a giant laser on the Moon. In London, Austin and Felicity get to know each other, but when Felicity tries to have sex with Austin, he turns her down because of his lost mojo. Under MOD instructions to implant a homing device into Fat Bastard, Felicity seduces him, allowing her to plant it in his buttocks. Fat Bastard forces it out of his bowels into a Paddington Station toilet, but a stool sample from the scene is analyzed to reveal traces of a vegetable that only grows on one Caribbean island. Austin and Felicity arrive on the island, but are apprehended. They are put in a cell with a guard who is overcome when Felicity exposes her breasts. Dr. Evil and Mini-Me leave for the Moon to install the giant laser and are followed by Austin and Felicity, who hitch a ride on Apollo 11. In Dr. Evil`s moon base, Austin battles with Mini-Me, eventually flushing him into space. As Austin confronts Dr. Evil, Dr. Evil gives him a choice: Save the world or Felicity, who is locked in a chamber with poison gas. Felicity tells Austin to save the world and he succeeds in doing so by kicking Frau, diverting the laser and saving Washington D.C. Felicity is killed by the poison gas. Austin chases Dr. Evil and shoots him in the leg. Before Austin can kill him, Dr. Evil tells him he could use the time machine to save Felicity and the world. Austin travels ten minutes into the past, meeting up with himself and saving both the world and Felicity. Dr. Evil initiates the self-destruct mechanism of the moon base and escapes in his rocket after throwing Austin`s mojo into the air. Both Austins fail to catch it and it crashes on the floor and is destroyed. Felicity points out that all the things Austin has done show that he never lost his mojo. They escape through the time portal to 1999. At Austin`s Pad, Fat Bastard makes another attempt to assassinate Austin, but Felicity disarms him. Felicity and Austin then throw a party. Dr. Evil recovers Mini-Me from space and vows to `get` Austin. On Jerry Springer, Scott learns he was not created in a test tube, but is the love child of Dr. Evil and Frau Farbissina. Austin returns to his pad, only to discover Felicity with the past Austin, who claims that since he and Austin are the same person, it is not cheating. Austin forgives Felicity.

Reznor reportedly produced the soundtrack using a portable Pro Tools in his hotel room while on his band’s Self Destruct Tour. On his approach to compiling the soundtrack, Reznor told MTV: I suggested to Oliver [Stone] to try to turn the soundtrack into a collage-of-sound, kind of the way the movie used music: make edits, add dialog, and make it something interesting, rather than a bunch of previously released music. The film also contains `Bombtrack` and `Take the Power Back` by Rage Against the Machine, `Cyclops` by Marilyn Manson, `Anthem` by Leonard Cohen, `The Heat` and `In Doubt` by Peter Gabriel, `If You Were the Woman and I Was the Man` by Cowboy Junkies, `The Way I Walk` cover by Robert Gordon, and `Ghost Town` by The Specials. These tracks are not included on the soundtrack album. Also includes samples of `Leader of the Pack` by The Shangri-Las, and Steven `Jesse` Bernstein`s `No No Man-Part 1`. Some songs were written especially for the film or soundtrack, such as `Burn` by Nine Inch Nails.

(Laser ga čita bez problema / radiće bez problema i bez uticaja na zvuk) Label: Atlantic – 7567-82787-2 Format: CD, Album, Reissue, Remastered Country: Europe Released: 1995 Genre: Rock, Stage & Screen Style: Blues Rock, Soundtrack The Blues Brothers: Original Soundtrack Recording (later re-released as The Blues Brothers: Music from the Soundtrack) was released on June 20, 1980, as the second album by the Blues Brothers Band, which also toured that year to promote the film. `Gimme Some Lovin`` was a Top 20 Billboard hit, peaking at number 18. The album was a followup to their debut, the live album, Briefcase Full of Blues. Later that year they released a second live album, Made in America, which featured the Top 40 track, `Who`s Making Love`. The songs on the soundtrack album are a noticeably different audio mix than in the film, with a prominent baritone saxophone in the horn line (also heard in the film during `Shake a Tail Feather`, though no baritone sax is present), and female backing vocals on `Everybody Needs Somebody to Love`, though the band had no other backup singers, besides Jake and/or Elwood, in the film. A number of regular Blues Brothers` members, including saxophonist Tom Scott and drummer Steve Jordan, perform on the soundtrack album, but are not in the film. According to Landis in the 1998 documentary The Stories Behind the Making of `The Blues Brothers`, filmed musical performances by Franklin and Brown took more effort, as neither artist was accustomed to lip-synching their performances on film. Franklin required several takes, and Brown simply rerecorded his performance live. Cab Calloway initially wanted to do a disco variation on his signature tune, `Minnie the Moocher`, having done the song in several styles in the past, but Landis insisted that the song be done faithfully to the original big-band version.

(Laser ga čita bez problema / radiće bez problema i bez uticaja na zvuk) Label: Bad Boy Records – 78612-73012-2 Format: CD, Album Country: Europe Released: 1997 Genre: Hip Hop Style: Pop Rap No Way Out is the debut studio album by American rapper Puff Daddy. It was released on July 22, 1997 by Bad Boy Records and Arista Records. The album`s crediting of `The Family` references the guest appearances from his label-mates and other artists, where Puff Daddy initially gained recognition through his public image and work as a producer for Bad Boy. Puff Daddy worked extensively with The Notorious B.I.G. and The Hitmen when creating the album, which saw a change in direction following the former`s shooting and death a few months prior to release. This greatly affected Puff Daddy, which he expands upon on the album with a combination of aggressive and introspective lyrics, as well as with raw production to convey his varying emotional state before and after his friend’s death. Additional production was provided by Rashad Smith and Jaz-O, while the album contains features from The Notorious B.I.G., Busta Rhymes, Mase, Lil` Kim, Carl Thomas, Jay-Z, Black Rob, The LOX, Ginuwine, Twista, Foxy Brown, Faith Evans, and 112. No Way Out saw significant commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, selling over 561,000 copies in its first week of sales. The album`s singles also saw commercial success, namely with `I`ll Be Missing You`, which became a worldwide hit, and the first rap song to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. `Can`t Nobody Hold Me Down` also peaked at number one, while `It`s All About the Benjamins` and `Been Around the World` reached number two. The album also saw widespread critical success, with Puff Daddy being nominated for five awards at the 40th Grammy Awards, winning the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. It remains Puff Daddy`s best selling album, with over 7 million copies shipped in the United States, and is considered a classic rap album.

Ova ploča svedoči o utisku koji su mladi Kinezi mogli da ponesu sa njegovih nastupa. The album was nominated at the 41st Annual Grammy Awards for Best Rap Album. It went on to sell 4.8 million copies in the United States, going quadruple Platinum in the United States. Harlem World sold nearly 273,000 copies during its first week. Seen as Puff Daddy`s new protégé since the passing of The Notorious B.I.G., Mase rose to fame after being a member of Children of the Corn with fellow Harlem rappers Big L and Cam`ron. After the death of Bloodshed and the subsequent disbanding of the group, Mase was signed to Bad Boy, catching the public eye when appearing on the track `Mo Money, Mo Problems` from Biggie`s 1997 album Life After Death. Puff Daddy began to promote Mase as the new premier act of Bad Boy and within a year had released `Harlem World`, a successful album spawning hits such as `Feel So Good` (U.S. #5), `What You Want` (U.S. #6), and `Lookin` at Me` (U.S. #8). Mase released his first solo LP, Harlem World, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Pop and R&B LP charts selling over 175,000 copies in the U.S. its first week of release; it has since gone on to sell 4.8 million copies in the United States. Joining Mase on his solo LP was a long list of rap elite including Jay-Z, Lil` Kim, Busta Rhymes, 8Ball & MJG, The Lox, Total, and his close friend DMX. The album featured production by Combs, Steven `Stevie J` Jordan, Jermaine Dupri, Ron `Amen-Ra` Lawrence Deric `D-Dot` Angelettie, and (then unknowns) The Neptunes. Mase told MTV about his first solo effort: `Well, basically what I`m trying to establish is a strong identity and foundation for Mase so a lot of people could know that Mase is his own person and Mase can do other things besides rap and music and things in that nature.`

NOVO, U CELOFANU ORIGINAL STRANO IZDANJE The original personnel listing for the Seeds’ third long-player, “Future”, included a credit to “your imagination”. It was lead singer Sky Saxon’s invitation for the listener to travel “back into your dreams”, to conjure up for themselves the fantasy landscape of castles, forests and clouds that he had envisaged for the record. “Future” embodied one of many tangents Sky had spun off upon, which led him from a knowing hipness to a wide-eyed, childlike naïveté. Behind, the Seeds packed as solid a musical punch as they ever had, but it was increasingly difficult for his fellow travellers to relate to the paths Sky was pointing the band down. 1967 was a turning point for Sky Saxon, Daryl Hooper, Jan Savage and Rick Andridge, a moment where the hard work of the previous two years was finally paying off. The first six months likely represented the zenith of the Seeds’ career, as the ascendant quartet seemed completely in the vanguard, with a major national hit under their belt, fan pandemonium wherever they went, and a public profile inflated by a new manager, the voluble “Lord Tim” Hudson. The eponymous debut album and its sequel, “A Web Of Sound”, had solidified the attitude implied by the hits, and saw the group made defiantly outrageous gestures, both musically and visually. What would their next move be? The ensuing album, “Future”, seemed at once both calculated and confused. For some, it represents the Seeds’ grand psychedelic statement, a mind-blowing articulation of the flower power movement of which they had been proclaimed torchbearers. To others, “Future” is Sky Saxon’s folly: an over-egged, acid-damaged pudding that submerged the true power of the band with meaningless grandeur. The truth lies somewhere between. A narcissistic over-confidence made Sky feel the need to now augment Daryl, Jan and Rick in the studio with numerous overdubs – strings, harp, tuba – on hastily cobbled material that brimmed with bizarre lyrical concepts. On certain tracks the combination worked fine, on others it seemed almost like a parody of psychedelia. Nevertheless, “Future” contains many fan favourites such as ‘Painted Doll’, ‘Flower Lady’, ‘Two Fingers’ and ‘A Thousand Shadows’. From this point on, Sky’s grip on the qualities that made him distinctive would only loosen further, but on “Future” he was attentive enough to pull things together, and the album has enough fine moments and flashes of the old Sky Saxon laser-like focus to ensure its reputation today as something of a flawed gem. Our deluxe 2CD edition thus seeks to reappraise the Seeds’ psychedelic experiment, and presents it in the very best sound quality. Disc One features the remastered stereo album mix, along with a selection of period mono mixes, including several that are previously unissued. A second disc, “Contact High: The Future Sessions”, is a fascinating eavesdrop upon the album’s creation at Hollywood’s famed Gold Star studio, utilising outtakes, alternate mixes and previously unheard versions to demonstrate that, beneath all the overdubs and florid platitudes, on “Future” the Seeds’ electricity crackled as strongly as ever. A 48-page booklet crammed with rarely-seen images tells the story behind this unusual but nevertheless compelling episode in the career of these garage kings.

Original, made in Germany Knjizica od 16 str. knjizica 5 Cd 4/4+ Studio album by Sting Released 9 March 1993[1] Recorded June–December 1992 Studio Lake House, Wiltshire, England Genre Pop rocksoft rockjazz rock Length 52:31 Label A&MPolyGram (Hong Kong) Producer Sting, Hugh Padgham Sting chronology The Soul Cages (1991) Ten Summoner`s Tales (1993) Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984–1994 (1994) Ten Summoner`s Tales is the fourth solo studio album by English rock musician Sting. The title is a combined pun of his family name, Sumner, and a character in Geoffrey Chaucer`s The Canterbury Tales, the summoner. Released in 1993, it explores themes of love and morality in a noticeably upbeat mood compared to his previous release, the introspective The Soul Cages released in 1991 after the loss of both his parents in the 1980s. This album contains two US hits; `If I Ever Lose My Faith in You` reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 while `Fields of Gold` got to No. 23.[21] Ten Summoner`s Tales was shortlisted for the 1993 Mercury Prize. In 1994, it was nominated for six Grammy awards including Album of the Year (losing to Whitney Houston‘s The Bodyguard), winning Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance (`If I Ever Lose My Faith in You`) and Best Long Form Music Video, while `If I Ever Lose My Faith in You` was also nominated for Record and Song of the Year. A laser disc and VHS of the album were released, containing live performances of all songs on the album at Lake House. A promotional disc was made where Sting discusses some of the songs on the album. There was also an unofficial live album produced during the Ten Summoner`s Tales era, entitled Meadowlands of Gold, which contained 13 tracks performed at the Meadowlands Arena on February 26, 1994, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The songs consisted of tracks from the album, and a few songs by The Police plus a cover of the Beatles` `A Day in the Life`. In February 2023, it was announced that Ten Summoner`s Tales would be re-released and digitally expanded, with multiple songs not previously heard or available to download.[22] Background The album was recorded at Lake House, Wiltshire, mixed at The Town House, London and mastered at Masterdisk, New York.[23] The cover of the album was photographed at Wardour Old Castle in Wiltshire, featuring Hrímnir, an Icelandic horse Sting owned for a period. A long form `performance` video of the entire album was filmed at Sting`s Lake House property. The audio used is partly from the album, but partly recorded as played by the band during the filming. This film was released in conjunction with the album. The video went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Long Form Video in 1994, and was directed by Doug Nichol and produced by Julie Fong. On 11 August 1994, a compact disc of Ten Summoner`s Tales became the first item ever securely purchased over the Internet, for $12.48 plus shipping.[24] There was also an interview disc released for the album, in which Sting talks about all tracks on the album. The second track on the album, `Love Is Stronger Than Justice (The Munificent Seven)`, was named as a homage to the films Seven Samurai and The Magnificent Seven. According to the interview disc, the idea came to Sting when he wanted to write a song in the 7/4 time signature. The song `Seven Days` is also noted for the sophisticated playing of drummer Vinnie Colaiuta in the 5/4 time signature. The international-exclusive track `Everybody Laughed But You` was excluded from Canadian and American pressings of the album. However, US singles from the album included the song, as well as a version of the song with different lyrics titled `January Stars`. The singles for Ten Summoner`s Tales also give credit to Fernandes Guitars, as Dominic Miller played a Fernandes P-Project Acoustic Electric Nylon guitar throughout the album.
