  • - Ništa. Blank page. - Zbog sitnih zabluda. • Overview Understand the different roles that Samba 4 Server can play on the networkImplement Samba 4 as an Active Directory Domain ControllerStep-by-step and practical approach to manage the Samba 4 Active Directory Domain Controller using Microsoft Windows standard tools What you will learn from this book Identify and choose the right Samba 4 Server roleSet up a Samba 4 Server as an Active Directory Domain ControllerUtilize the Python Scripting InterfaceUnderstand the migration steps from Samba 3 to Samba 4Integrate GNU/Linux Operating System authentication into the ADImplement File and Print Servers using Samba 4Understand the tasks and attention points when replacing a Microsoft Windows AD In Detail A number of different projects are responsible for the inception and success of many startups, as well helping different companies to greatly reduce costs (for example, TCO). The Samba Project has been a great example for many years for such Open Source technology through its famous and stable version 3. Samba is now a drop in replacement for the heart of the thousands and thousands of networks that run on Microsoft Windows domain controllers. With the new Samba 4 software version, users and system administrators will be able to implement an Active Directory server, file and print services, and so deliver a broad range of network services using Open Source technology. Now with a compatible Active Directory implementation, it will definitely put its name inside every datacenter that wants a cost reduction for the Open Source solutions, without losing the security, stability, and flexibility of any resilient solution. The book starts off with installing dependencies and building the Samba 4 software, deploying it as an Active Directory Domain Controller and enabling the reader to understand the different roles the software can play on the network. This book looks at the Samba 4 server roles, and breaks down the mystery and confusion that surrounds each role and which role to use for some specific use cases. It will take you through some clear, practical, and complete examples that will help you to take advantage of the Samba 4 Server quickly and in a simple way. By the end of the book you will be able to provide the required (stable) network services and will have a good grounding in using Samba 4 server to leverage all the benefits just by using Open Source software. You will learn everything you need to know to implement a Samba 4 Server to provide complete network services, as well as how to integrate with other Operating Systems (for example, GNU/Linux). Approach This book is an implementation tutorial covering step-by-step procedures, examples, and sample code, and has a practical approach to set up a Samba 4 Server as an Active Directory Domain Controller and also set up different Samba 4 server roles. Who this book is for This book is ideal for system administrators who are new to the Samba 4 software, and who are looking to get a good grounding in how to use Samba 4 to implement Active Directory Services. It's assumed that you will have some experience with general system administration, Active Directory, and GNU/Linux systems. Readers are expected to have some test machines (virtual machines), which will be used to execute the examples within this book.

S druge strane, broj njihovih izvedbi je ogroman, a raspon veličina i snaga veoma širok. Osnovne razlike leže u veličini motora, specifičnoj snazi, taktnosti, brzohodosti, radnom procesu (Otto ili Diesel), konstruktivnom izvođenju i u još mnogo drugih detalja.

  • Who This Book Is For If you are interested in developing modern applications, this book will help you leverage the vast JavaScript ecosystem while using an elegant language, helping you avoid the shortcomings of JavaScript. About This Book Use CoffeeScript to create and test applications and backend servicesBuild applications using popular frameworks, libraries, and platformsInterface with popular services to send e-mails, text messages, and use cloud storage In Detail CoffeeScript is a JavaScript compiler. CoffeeScript brings many things to the table that are lacking in JavaScript itself. This includes a class and module system, a syntax that is cleaner, less terse, and well structured, and list comprehensions that make working with collections of data more enjoyable. CoffeeScript can be used as not only a tool for the Web, but also as a tool for day-to-day dev-ops type tasks (for example, file processing, working with databases, and more). This practical guide contains a wide range of recipes demonstrating how CoffeeScript can be used while developing the entire stack of an application. With recipes that range from easy and intermediate to advanced, there is something here for anyone looking to escape the common pitfalls of JavaScript and develop in a clean and expressive language. We begin by first considering why you should use CoffeeScript, and then move on to demonstratinghow CoffeeScript can be used to create user interfaces and backend services, deal with external services, test, and deploy our applications. Some of the libraries and platforms we will be working with include Node.js, jQuery, Backbone, AngularJS, Kendo.UI, Socket.io, MongoDB, Redis, SQLite, Twil.io, DropBox, and S3, as well as testing with Jasmine, Zombie, Mocha, and Chai. This book is packed with helpful and engaging recipes to make your life easier. Mike Hatfield Mike Hatfield has over 25 years of experience developing custom business solutions for a variety of clients and industries. He is the Chief Technology Officer of Nicom IT Solutions Inc., a large independent IT consulting firm based in Halifax, Canada, and has a passion for developing for the Web and mobile web platforms.

  • Screens have taken over our lives. Most people spend over eight hours a day staring at a screen, and some “technological innovators” are hoping to grab even more of your eyeball time. You have screens in your pocket, in your car, on your appliances, and maybe even on your face. Average smartphone users check their phones 150 times a day, responding to the addictive buzz of Facebook or emails or Twitter. Are you sick? There’s an app for that! Need to pray? There’s an app for that! Dead? Well, there’s an app for that, too! And most apps are intentionally addictive distractions that end up taking our attention away from things like family, friends, sleep, and oncoming traffic. There’s a better way. In this book, innovator Golden Krishna challenges our world of nagging, screen-based bondage, and shows how we can build a technologically advanced world without digital interfaces. In his insightful, raw, and often hilarious criticism, Golden reveals fascinating ways to think beyond screens using three principles that lead to more meaningful innovation. Whether you’re working in technology, or just wary of a gadget-filled future, you’ll be enlighted and entertained while discovering that the best interface is no interface.FOREWORDWhy do phones ring?WELCOME01. • ovjek je živi stroj za probavljanje smrti. Oca, majke, braće i sestara. A ponekad i pojedinih drugih, ponešto lakših i ljudskijih smrti. Koliki talent, tolika i nesreća. Nema utjehe. I nema odgovora.
