Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1994. Production was concentrated in the plants of Audi AG in Ingolstadt, Germany. Model 90 was developed and put into production in order to complement the company's commercial offer and its strengthening in the segment of middle class cars. In essence, the Audi 90 is a development of the Audi 80, which is very similar to its predecessor in terms of design and many components used. However, it differs much richer basic and additional equipment, it is also more luxurious and has better performance. It is also characterized by a lower failure rate. In total, there were two generations of Audi 90 with the designations B2 and B3. A variant of the B4 was also created, but it was only offered in the North American market from 1993 to 1995. All Audi 90s were offered exclusively as 4-door sedans, with engines ranging from 1.6 to 2.3 liters as the propulsion. The model was replaced in the company's offer by the Audi A5. Greška u opisu? At the time of the outbreak of World War II, the American Navy was considered one of the most powerful in the world, but in the course of this military conflict, it definitely outstripped other navies in the world in terms of the number of ships built (often also their quality) - primarily the Japanese. At the end of the war in the Pacific, it had, among others, 27 aircraft carriers and 18 battleships. It also had the most powerful naval aviation in the world. It is also worth remembering that at the time of the outbreak of the war in the Pacific, the US Navy had about 340,000. people, and at the time of its completion - around 3.4 million people! Each of the US Navy seamen during World War II underwent the so-called Basic Training, which emphasized the physical condition of the soldier, his familiarity with weapons, drill and other basic activities in the army. Only after that, the seamen underwent specialist training, such as gunmen, radar operators or engine room crew. Most of the senior US Navy officers graduated from the Annapolis Naval Academy, while many junior officers received training under the V-12 Navy College Training Program. It is estimated that about 125,000 people participated in it between 1943 and 1947. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Airfix Šifra proizvoda: afx02108 Težina 0.15 kg Ean: 5055286671494 Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 12.4.2021 Tagovi Supermarine-Spitfire Supermarine Spitfire is probably the most famous British fighter from the Second World War. It was an all-metal machine with a low wing configuration, characteristic elliptical wings, a classic tail and a retractable landing gear. The prototype flight took place on March 5, 1936. The Spitfire proved to be the RAF's staple of the war, which continued to do well after the war, remaining in production for 10 years. The history of the Spitfire began on the drawing desk of RJ Mitchell, Supermarine's lead designer. The first machines went to RAF units in 1938, but when the Battle of Britain began in the summer of 1940, there were already 19 squadrons of modern fighters at the airfields - together with the slightly older Hurricanes of the Islands, 600 aircraft were defending. With the expansion of hostilities, the Spitfire served wherever the RAF operated in the Far East, North Africa and Italy, during the Normandy landings and fighting in France, and finally during the operation in Germany in 1945. For many Britons, he became a symbol of victory in World War II. This wonderful machine has at least a dozen production versions. The most important of them are, among others the first mass-produced Spitfire Mk.I powered by a 1030hp Rolls-Royce Merlin II engine. It was above all this machine that made such an excellent contribution to the Battle of Britain. Many versions of this model have been developed, including PR Mk IA (reconnaissance version) or PR.IG (armed reconnaissance version). Another interesting version was the Spitfire Mk.V with a Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine with 1440HP. Later, Merlin 50 engines were also assembled. Serial production of this version started in 1941 and was the RAF's response to the appearance of the Messerschmitt Bf-109F. Another very successful version is the Spitfire Mk.IX, powered by a Merlin 61 engine with a 4-blade propeller. It was created as an opponent to the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and was put into production at the end of 1941. This version was modified many times and, for example, in 1944 it got a new gyro sight, an enlarged rudder or a different wing system. Another major version is the Spitfire Mk.XIV with a Rolls-Royce Griffon 61 engine and a five-bladed propeller. Serial production started in October 1943. One of the last series produced was the Mk.21 version. This version had a Griffon 61 engine, a strongly reinforced structure and sheathing, the wings were extended, increasing their flying surface. Mass production started in March 1945. Technical data (Mk.XIV version): length: 9.14m, wingspan: 11.23m, height: 3.05m, maximum speed: 717km / h, rate of climb: 18.5m / s, practical ceiling: 13,200m, range maximum: 1815 km, armament: fixed - 4 7.7mm machine guns and 2 20mm Hispano Mk II cannons, suspended - up to 225 kg of bombs. Aerospatiale SA 341/342 Gazelle is a modern French multi-task helicopter with a fixed landing gear, in a classic configuration, with a main rotor and a tail rotor on a beam in a fenestron configuration. In the SA 341 version, the drive is provided by a single Turbomeca Astazou IIIA engine with a maximum power of 590 HP. The first prototype flew in 1967 and production started in 1973. The machine is 11.97 meters long, with a rotor diameter of 10.5 meters. Aerospatiale SA 341/342 Gazelle was designed and implemented to the order of the French Army Air Force, which in the second half of the 1960s was looking for a light machine that could replace the SA 318C Alouette II in service. The new machine was created with the participation of the British company Westland. The SA 341/342 Gazelle helicopter took many design solutions from its predecessor, but also brought many new things: first of all, a different structure of the tail boom and other solutions related to the tail rotor. It also received a new rotor, and eventually a completely new engine. In the period 1971-1973, the SA 341 version was produced, and from 1973 the SA 342 version, which received a new power unit and was adapted to operate in dry and desert climates. SA 341/342 Gazelle machines were used in combat, among others: in both wars in the Gulf (1990-1991 and 2003), in the intervention in Djibouti (1991-1992) or in the Serval operation in Mali in 2013. The glider was developed at Szybowcowe Zakłady Doświadczalnych (SZD) based in Bielsko-Biała. The flight of the prototype took place in 1958, and serial production started in 1960. The curb weight of the glider was 295-330 kilograms. SZD-19 2A Zefir 2 was developed on the basis of the experience gained from the operation of the SZD-19x Zefir 1, as well as the conclusions of the 7th World Gliding Championships organized in 1958 in Leszno. Work on the new aircraft was supervised by MSc. Bogumił Szuba. Despite the Zefir 2 design being based on the Zefir 1 glider, a completely new glider was finally created, clearly exceeding its predecessor and equaling in almost every area the best designs in the world. Moreover, as early as 1962, an improved version of the Zefira-2, the Zefir-2A glider, was tested and put into production. It was on such a glider in 1963 in Argentina that Edward Makula and Jerzy Popiel won the titles of the Champion and Vice-Champion of the World in the open class, which is still one of the greatest achievements in the history of Polish sports gliding! It can be stated that in the 1960s the SZD-19-2 / 2A Zefir-2 / 2A glider was one of the best gliders in its class in the world. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Kolejne modele czołgów były coraz większe, coraz lepiej opancerzone i czas małokalibrowych działek przeciwpancernych biegł ku końcowi. Bofors wz. 36 (full name: 37 mm wz. 36 gun or 37 mm Bofors L / 45 / M ) is a Polish 36mm anti-tank gun, produced under a Swedish license from the interwar period and World War II. The own weight of the weapon was 930 kilograms, with a barrel length of 166.5 centimeters. With a well-trained crew, the gun rate of fire was up to 10 shots per minute. The maximum range was about 7,000 meters. The Bofors wz.36 gun was adopted by the Polish Army in 1936 as the basic anti-tank weapon for infantry and cavalry units. The weapon had many advantages. First of all, it was small, which greatly facilitated its transport and masking in the field. It was also relatively light. It could also penetrate armor up to 40 mm thick from a distance of 100 meters, which in the conditions of the September 1939 campaign turned out to be at least a good result. In the interwar period, the Bofors wz.36 gun enjoyed a very good reputation in the Polish Army, and its achievements in the September campaign also confirmed its high efficiency. The flight of this powerful aircraft took place on March 6, 1964 under the designation E-155. The main task of the MIG 25 was to intercept and destroy new American strategic bombers that met the requirements of the WS-110A from 1956. As part of this program, a prototype of the XB-70 bomber was created, but it did not enter mass production. Despite this, the Soviet air command created the concept of anti-aircraft defense of the USSR based on long-range surface-to-air missiles and new fighters with a speed of 3Ma. At the turn of 1968-1969, the plane went into mass production. A total of 1190 MiG-25s were produced - the MiG-25 P fighter and the MiG-25 R reconnaissance bomber, in several versions until the end of production in 1984. Spoken in the USSR, Algeria, India, Libya, Syria, and in 1971-75 in Egypt. 25 world records were set on the E-266 and E-266M in 1965-76, including altitude 37,650 m, speed 2,980 km / h and climb 25,000 m in 2.5 minutes. Israeli radars once detected a MiG-25 flying at 4,000 km / h (Mach 3.26). The aircraft was powered by powerful Tumanski R-15BD-300 engines with 11,500daN thrust with afterburning. Technical data: length: 23.8m, wingspan: 13.95m, height: 6.1m, maximum speed: 2.82Ma, climb speed: 123m / s, maximum range: 1600km, maximum ceiling 24400m, armament: permanent - no outboard-up to 4 air-to-air missiles of the type: AA-6, AA-7 or AA-11. The first prototypes were built in 1969, and serial production, started in 1972, lasted until the early 1990s. In total, more than 3,000 copies of this tank were made. The FV101 Scorpion is powered by a gasoline engine Jaguar J60 or the Cummins 6BTA diesel engine with 190 HP each. The vehicle is armed with a single cannon L23A1 76 mm caliber and 1 L43A1 machine gun 7.62 mm. Tank The FV101 Scorpion was created in response to the British Army's need for a new light and reconnaissance tank. The contact for this task was signed with Alvis in 1967. When designing the FV101 Scorpion, the emphasis was placed on the smallest dimensions of the vehicle (the maximum height is only 2.1 m!), Facilitating hidden operations, wide mobility with the possibility of transporting the tank by air via the C-130 Hercules plane and possibly strong artillery armament in the form of a 76 mm caliber cannon. All these features, combined with the high mechanical efficiency of the entire structure, made the FV101 Scorpion a great export success for Alvis, which sold its structure to many countries, including: Belgium, Brunei, Chile, Oman and Venezuela. A far-reaching development of the FV101 Scorpion, the FV107 Scimitar is armed with the 30mm RARDEN L21 autocannon, using the same chassis and many other elements as the FV101. The FV101 Scorpion light tank took part in the Falklands War (1982), the Iran-Iraq War (1980-1988) and in Operation Desert Storm (1990-1991). Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The first prototypes of this vehicle were built in the late 1960s and the vehicle entered service in 1970. In the basic version, with additional Blazer armor, the combat weight of the tank was up to 53 tons. The drive was provided by a single diesel engine Continental AVDS-1790-2A with a power of 750 hp. The primary armament was the 105mm Royal Ordonance L7 cannon, and the secondary armament consists of four machine guns: one 12.7 mm and three 7.62 mm. In the 1950s, the Israeli armed forces sought to obtain vehicles to complement the line, and preferably replace the M51 Super Sherman and AMX-13 tanks. Finally, it was possible to establish cooperation with Great Britain, which provided IDF with Centurion vehicles in Mark 3 and 5 versions. The first of these tanks (Centurion Mk. III) received the IDF Sho't Meteor designation, while the second - Sho't Kal , along with successive letters of the Hebrew alphabet denoting further (often significant!) modernizations. In these modernizations, first of all, a new drive unit with higher maximum power was used, a significantly modernized drive train system, and the capacity of the fuel tanks was also significantly increased. After 1973 and the experiences of the Yom Kippur war, Blazer reactive armor and a significantly modernized fire control system (SKO for short) were also installed. Ultimately, therefore, after subsequent modernizations, the Sho't Kal cars significantly differed from their British prototypes, possibly presenting a significantly greater combat value. Officially, the Sho't Kal cars were decommissioned from the IDF in 2002. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Serial production of the vehicle took place in the years 1973-1984. The vehicle was powered by two carburetor engines with a total power of 240 HP and took 7 landing soldiers. The crew consisted of two people: the commander and the mechanic-driver. The BTR-70 transporter was created as a successor to the BTR-60. The main armament of the car (a 14.5 mm machine gun) was still in the rotating turret, which allowed for effective circular fire. The BTR-70, however, towered over its predecessor with much more powerful engines of the ZMZ-4908 type and a slightly better crew protection. By far the biggest disadvantage of the BTR-70, just like its predecessor, was the disastrous placement of very small hatches for the landing troops. In addition, the big drawback was the complicated drive system, very difficult to repair in combat conditions, as well as the too small lifting angle of the main weapon, which was changed later in subsequent versions. The BTR-70 wheeled armored personnel carriers were used in combat in Afghanistan in 1979-1989 and in armed conflicts led by the Russian Federation in the Caucasus after 1989. Various versions of the BTR-70 are still used today, primarily by Russia, but also by, for example, Ukraine and Lithuania. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

In the course of this conflict, they became the most powerful military aviation in the world, and at the time of the end of hostilities, they numbered about 2.25 million people! Due to the fact that the American aviation industry was one of the most modern and efficient in the world, the USAAF saw many successful, and sometimes great, aircraft models. It is worth remembering that in 1940-1945 it produced a total of approx. 295 thousand. machines, and therefore more than the aviation industry of Germany, Italy and Japan combined. Moreover, among these thousands of machines produced, one can point to the very successful P-38 Lightning, P-47 Thunderbolt or P-51 Mustang fighters, B-25 Mitchell or B-26 Marauder tactical bombers, but also the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress strategic bombers. and the B-29 Super Fortress. The USAAF pilot training system can also be considered successful and well-thought-out, as it was able to provide the rapidly expanding air force with well-trained pilots. It is also worth remembering that, unlike the German aviation, the American crews and pilots were rotated and after serving a certain period of time, they most often returned to the country, to training units, passing their experiences on. This fact may explain why American fighter aces (such as Richard Bong or Thoma McGuire) had "only" dozens of kills compared to several hundred kills of German aces (such as Erich Hartmann or Gerhard Barkhorn). Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Revell Šifra proizvoda: rev03839 Težina 0.22 kg Ean: 4009803038391 Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 20.12.2021 Tagovi Eurocopter-Tiger Eurocopter Tiger is a twin-engine attack helicopter of German, Spanish and Italian production, with a metal structure in a classic arrangement with a main rotor and a tail rotor on the beam. In the basic version, the drive is provided by two Rolls-Royce / MTU 390 engines with 1183 HP each. The flight of the first prototype took place in 1991, and serial production, which only started in 2002, is still ongoing. At present (2017), it is estimated that approx. 100 copies of this helicopter have been produced. The Eurocopter Tiger was created in response to a competition announced in 1984 by the French and German Ministry of Defense for a new attack helicopter for the armies of both countries. In order to reduce costs, a consortium of Aerospatiale and MBB was established. In the course of serial production, four specialized development versions were created, produced in - so far - in relatively short batches. One of them is the UHT version used by the German army as an anti-tank helicopter. Interestingly - this version does not have a plot. Another is the version of the HAP used by the armies of France and Spain as a close support and escort helicopter. In general, all versions of the Eurocopter Tiger are very similar to each other and differ mainly in their weapons and avionics. Eurocopter Tiger have been used in combat in Afghanistan by France, Germany and Spain since 2009. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Germania-Figuren Šifra proizvoda: GER-72-WW2-851 Težina 0.10 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 7.9.2022 Tagovi Japanese-World-War-II-Infantry 6 figures Formally, the Empire of Japan entered World War II with the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, but from 1937, Japan carried out large-scale military operations in China. At the end of 1941, the Japanese army consisted of 51 divisions, which, together with numerous separated units, had a strength of approximately 1.7 million people. More than half of these forces (27 divisions) were stationed in China. The basic type of armed force in the Japanese army was, of course, infantry. Interestingly, in 1938, Japanese infantry divisions underwent an organization, as a result of which most of them (but not all!) Consisted of 3 infantry regiments, and each regiment consisted of 3 infantry battalions. At the division level, the infantry regiments were also joined by staff subunits, an artillery regiment, a cavalry battalion, an engineer battalion as well as transport, communication and medical units. In total, the Japanese infantry division (the so-called B-type) had about 19,800 full-time employees. It is worth adding that it had relatively weak anti-tank and anti-aircraft armament, and its supporting artillery was usually 70 or 75 mm caliber. Artillery units with more than 100 mm caliber artillery were rare. It should also be said that Japanese infantry units were characterized by a very high morale, almost fanatic, with iron discipline, but also (especially after 1942) they were clearly inferior tactically or in firepower to their Allied opponents. It should also not be forgotten that Japanese infantry units have committed a great many war crimes, bearing the hallmarks of crimes against humanity, with the macabre Nanking Massacre at the turn of 1937 and 1938 at the forefront.
