Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Alpine Miniatures Šifra proizvoda: ALP-35075 Težina 0.01 kg Skala 1:35 Dodato je u katalog: 6.4.2018 Tagovi Joachim-Peiper Joachim Peiper was born in January 1915 and died in July 1976 at the age of 61. He was the German commander of motorized and mechanized units within the SS and Waffen-SS. He was born into a family with a certain military tradition, as his father served as a captain in German East Africa during the First World War. Joachim Peiper joined the SS at the age of 18, and a year later, in 1934, he was promoted to the rank of SS man and SS-Sturmmann. At the beginning of World War II, he was the personal adjutant of Heinrich Himmler. In May 1940, he obtained Himmler's permission to participate in the fighting in France, where he served in the 3rd Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Battalion. In the course of these fights he showed personal courage, for which he was decorated with the Iron Cross. At the end of 1941, she joined the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler unit fighting on the Eastern Front. In the period 1941-1943 Joachim Peiper participated in the battles in the USSR, fighting between Rostov-on-Don, Kharkiv and the Kursk Arch. In the course of the fights, he showed not only personal courage, commanding talents and a considerable tactical sense, but also bestiality towards the civilian population. After the defeat at the Kursk, he was transferred to Italy, where he massacred the civilian population in the town of Boves. At the end of 1943, he returned to the Eastern Front, fighting near Żytomierz. At the beginning of 1944, he was transferred to France, and later - from June this year - he participated in the battles with the Allied forces in Normandy. During the offensive in the Ardennes at the turn of 1944-1945, he participates in the offensive in the Ardennes, commanding his own Kampfgruppe. It is likely that he knew about the crimes of his subordinates committed against the American prisoners of war in Malmedy. After the end of World War II, he was tried for war crimes. Originally sentenced to death, later changed to life imprisonment, he was released from prison in 1956. He worked for the Porsche company for several years, and then moved to France, where in not fully explained circumstances he died in a fire in his own home in 1976. The first paramilitary unit to have the abbreviation SS (German: Schutz Staffel) in its name was the personal protection of the dictator of the Third Reich called Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, which was officially formed in 1933. From 1934, the SS was an independent formation headed by Heinrich Himmler. With time, further SS units were formed, including the SS-Totenkopfverbände and the SS-Verfügungstruppe. It is worth adding that the latter was trained similarly to regular Wehrmacht infantry units. On a relatively small scale, SS units were used in combat during the fighting in Poland in 1939 and in the French campaign in 1940. The first units intended from the beginning to fight at the front were created in mid-1940, giving them the name of the Waffen SS. Initially, they were recruited on a voluntary basis, also among non-German people, but over time, compulsory recruitment began to apply. Within the Waffen-SS, many divisions of different combat value were formed. Nevertheless, a few of them (e.g. the 1st SS LAH Panzer Division, the 2nd SS Das Reich Panzer Division or the 12th SS Hitlerjugend Panzer Division) can be considered elite units, with very high combat value and often equipped with the best available equipment. They demonstrated their considerable advantages not only on the Eastern Front (1941-1945), especially during the battles near Kharkiv in 1943, but also during the battles in France in 1944. Another thing is that the quality of the commanding staff of these units was in many cases debatable, and many Waffen-SS soldiers committed war crimes during World War II. Greška u opisu? It was an all-metal machine with a low wing configuration, characteristic elliptical wings, a classic tail and a retractable landing gear. The prototype flight took place on March 5, 1936. The Spitfire proved to be the RAF's staple of the war, which continued to do well after the war, remaining in production for 10 years. The history of the Spitfire began on the drawing desk of RJ Mitchell, Supermarine's lead designer. The first machines went to RAF units in 1938, but when the Battle of Britain began in the summer of 1940, there were already 19 squadrons of modern fighters at the airfields - together with the slightly older Hurricanes of the Islands, 600 aircraft were defending. With the expansion of hostilities, the Spitfire served wherever the RAF operated in the Far East, North Africa and Italy, during the Normandy landings and fighting in France, and finally during the operation in Germany in 1945. For many Britons, he became a symbol of victory in World War II. This wonderful machine has at least a dozen production versions. The most important of them are, among others the first mass-produced Spitfire Mk.I powered by a 1030hp Rolls-Royce Merlin II engine. It was above all this machine that made such an excellent contribution to the Battle of Britain. Many versions of this model have been developed, including PR Mk IA (reconnaissance version) or PR.IG (armed reconnaissance version). Another interesting version was the Spitfire Mk.V with a Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine with 1440HP. Later, Merlin 50 engines were also assembled. Serial production of this version started in 1941 and was the RAF's response to the appearance of the Messerschmitt Bf-109F. Another very successful version is the Spitfire Mk.IX, powered by a Merlin 61 engine with a 4-blade propeller. It was created as an opponent to the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and was put into production at the end of 1941. This version was modified many times and, for example, in 1944 it got a new gyro sight, an enlarged rudder or a different wing system. Another major version is the Spitfire Mk.XIV with a Rolls-Royce Griffon 61 engine and a five-bladed propeller. Serial production started in October 1943. One of the last series produced was the Mk.21 version. This version had a Griffon 61 engine, a strongly reinforced structure and sheathing, the wings were extended, increasing their flying surface. Mass production started in March 1945. Technical data (Mk.XIV version): length: 9.14m, wingspan: 11.23m, height: 3.05m, maximum speed: 717km / h, rate of climb: 18.5m / s, practical ceiling: 13,200m, range maximum: 1815 km, armament: fixed - 4 7.7mm machine guns and 2 20mm Hispano Mk II cannons, suspended - up to 225 kg of bombs. 3_edu11149_instruction_sheet.pdf Greška u opisu? The drive was provided by a single engine Isotta Fraschini Asso 750R with a power of 850 hp. The prototype flight took place in 1932. Serial production continued in the years 1932-1935, ending with the production of about 50 machines of this type. The aircraft was armed with four 7.7 mm Breda-SAFAT machine guns and a load of up to 700 kg of bombs. The Savoia-Marchetti SM.78 was created in response to the demand for a new flying boat to perform reconnaissance tasks reported by the Italian military aviation. When designing the SM.78, the experience and many elements of another aircraft from the same company - the SM.62bis - were used. The new machine had better piloting properties, range and slightly better performance. SM.78 planes entered the line in early 1933 and remained there until 1938, when they began to be quickly replaced by the very successful CANT Z.501. Some SM.78s were in service at the initial stage of World War II, performing search and rescue functions. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Choroszy Modelbud Šifra proizvoda: CHOD08 Težina 0.15 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 27.3.2017 Tagovi Japan-Army-Type-KI2 The Mitsubishi Ki-2 (another designation: Mitsubishi Type 93) was a Japanese light bomber from the interwar period and World War II. The machine was built in a low-wing configuration with a fixed undercarriage (version Ki-2-I) in a classic configuration. The flight of the prototype took place in 1933, and serial production continued in 1933-1938. The plane had a length - in the Ki-2-I version - 12.6 meters with a wingspan of 19.96 meters. The drive was provided by two Nakajima Jupiter VII radial engines with 570 HP each. The deck armament consisted of two machine guns. In addition, the machine could carry a load of bombs weighing up to 500 kilograms. The Mitsubishi Ki-2 was largely developed for the imported Junkers K-37 aircraft. The new machine was to replace the biplane Mitsubishi Type 87 or Kawasaki Type 88 biplanes. Compared to the original, it was decided to change the structure of the fuselage, especially its front part, and also the undercarriage and ailerons on the wings. Despite the crash of the first prototype, the modernized machine was accepted into service with the Japanese Army. Shortly thereafter, in 1936, a modernized version was created (designation: Ki-2-II), which had, among others: new drive units and metal propellers in place of the previously used wooden ones. The machine also received a retractable in-flight landing gear. Mitsubishi Ki-2 planes fought primarily in the Japanese-Chinese war of 1937-1945, gaining very favorable opinions from pilots. However, as early as 1939, they began to be withdrawn from service in favor of more modern machines. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1936, and serial production continued in the period 1938-1945, ending with the production of about 8,600 vehicles. The D version of the tank was powered by a single Maybach HL 120 TRM engine with a capacity of 300 HP. It was armed with 1 75mm KwK 37 L / 24 gun and 2 7.92mm MG 34 machine guns. The PzKpfw IV was created as a result of a competition announced at the end of 1934 by the German Armaments Department for a medium tank weighing up to 18 tons and armed with a 75 mm gun. The competition was won by the Krupp company, whose vehicle was put into mass production - as it turned out, it was a vehicle that can be safely called the "workhorse" of German armored forces during World War II and one of the most intensively developed and modernized Wehrmacht tanks. Numerous variants of the PzKpfw IV were created in the course of production. Chronologically, the first was the A version, armed with a 75mm short-barreled gun and a 230hp engine. However, versions B and C appeared quickly, in which several significant changes were made: first of all, more powerful engines (265 HP in version B and Maybach HL 120 TRM with 300 HP in C version - which were installed in PzKpfw IV until 1945 year), and the armor of the entire car was improved. The F1 and F2 versions turned out to be a real revolution, in which the frontal armor was increased to 60 mm, and the main armament was changed to the great, long-barreled 75mm KwK 40 L / 43 cannon, which in 1942 and 1943 allowed them to fight any Allied or soviet. The most frequently produced versions of the PzKpfw IV were the G, H and J versions, which were very similar to the F1 and F2 versions. The main armament has not changed significantly (it was still the KwK 40 cannon), as well as the engine and chassis. On the other hand, the armor was slightly strengthened, and from the beginning of 1943 armored screens (Schurzen) were installed on them. Numerous other vehicles were built on the chassis of the PzKpfw IV, such as the StuG IV assault gun, the Nashorn tank destroyer or the Wirbelwind self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. PzKpfw IV tanks were used on almost all fronts of World War II - from the September campaign in 1939, through the campaign in France in 1940, the Barbarossa and Typhoon operations in 1941, the Battle of Kursk in 1943, to the last operations of the German army against The USSR and the Western Allies in 1944-1945. Soon the prototype was given the type designation Do-17 V1. In May and September 1935, the first flights of the next two Do-17 V2 / V3 prototypes took place. From the very beginning, the Luftfahrtkommissariat showed great interest in the new design. The first prototype of the Do-17 V1 was built just for the needs of military aviation, while the next two were used as passenger planes. The military version of the plane had two hull bomb chambers located on the right side of its central part, which could hold five 50 kg bombs suspended vertically. The crew of the Do-17 V1 consisted of three people: the pilot sitting on the left side of the cabin, the navigator-bombardier and the shooter-radio operator sitting behind him. There were four small windows in both sides of the fuselage, providing the gunner with better visibility. Already at the beginning of 1936, mass production of the Do-17E-1 and F-1 versions was being prepared. Both versions were produced soon. The Do-17F-1 planes were deprived of sights and bomb launchers, but they were equipped with an additional fuel tank and three fixed-range cameras. In 1937, the Do-17E-2 and E-3 versions were also created, and then the Do-17F-2, which differed slightly from their predecessors in terms of equipment. A total of 536 Do-17 E and F planes were produced, including 268 at the parent plant, and the rest under license at other plants. From the beginning of 1937, these machines began to be used by Luftwaffe units. The most widely produced version was the Do-17Z model, which was made in the number of 872 copies. The plane performed well during the Spanish Civil War and the September Campaign. He also took part in the battles against France and the Battle of Britain in 1940. It suffered relatively high losses there, which meant that after 1940 it was successively replaced in line units by Ju-88 and He-111 bombers. The withdrawn Do-17 served primarily as glider tugs. Technical data (version Do-17Z): Maximum speed: 410 km / h, maximum ceiling 8200 m, radius of operation: 1010 km, armament: fixed - 6 MG15 machine guns caliber 7.92 mm, suspended - up to 1000 kg of bombs. Serial production took place in 1935-1943 and 1946-1955. About 75,000 copies of this car were produced in the first period. The W136 model was developed as a car intended for the civil market, to replace the Mercedes-Benz model 170. The new car was characterized by simplicity of construction, but also reliability, good performance and, at least, decent travel comfort. These features made it the most popular Mercedes model in the 1930s. In the period 1935-1943, models were produced in body versions of a limousine and a convertible. At the outbreak of World War II, many cars of this type were confiscated by the German armed forces, where they served as staff cars. The Mercedes-Benz W136 served on almost all fronts of this war from its very beginning until the surrender of Berlin in May 1945. Interestingly, after the capitulation of the Third Reich, production of this model resumed and it was one of the first cars produced in Germany after the war. In 1949, models with diesel engines were introduced to the offer. Finally, the entire series production ended in 1955, with the production of nearly 140,000 Mercedes-Benz W136 cars in the period 1935-1955. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The drive is provided by a single Avro-Lycoming GO-480-B1A6 engine with 274 HP. The flight of the prototype took place in 1955, and serial production began in the same year and continued in 1965, ending with the production of over 600 copies of this aircraft. The Dornier Do 27, was originally designed as the successor to the Do 25 for the Spanish Air Force as a new light multi-role reconnaissance aircraft. However, Dornier quickly saw the possibility of offering the Do 27 to other military customers as well. This was due to the very solid structure of the machine, its good performance, the possibility of a short take-off and landing (STOL) and low minimum speed. Finally, the Do 27 was sent to the air forces of Spain, Germany and Portugal. Especially the latter user used it intensively during the fighting in his then colonies in Angola and Mozambique in the 1960s and 1970s. It is worth noting that the Do 27 was the first mass-produced aircraft in West Germany after 1945. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The prototype flight took place in 1938. The plane was originally built to participate in the tender for a new USAAC attack reconnaissance aircraft, but despite its good performance, the plane did not meet with the interest of American decision makers. However, a lot of interest was expressed by the French air force, which in January 1939 placed an order for a batch of these aircraft. However, the engines (to the Wright R-1820 Cyclone 9 with 950KM each) and the weapons consisting of Belgian 7.5mm machine guns were changed. Deliveries began in November 1939 under the designation Martin 167A-3. After the defeat of France, Great Britain expressed interest in the machines built on its behalf. Engines were changed to Pratt-Whitney R-1830SC3-G Twin Wasp, 1050KM each, and entered the RAF under the designation Martin Maryland Mk.I. In 1941, the Mk.II version was created with more powerful engines and changed on-board weapons. In total, less than 500 copies of this machine were created. Research work on a jet fighter for the USAAF began in the USA, based on the British De Havilland H-1B Goblin engine, in 1943. The flight of the first prototype took place in January 1944. However, due to numerous failures and catastrophes, the first planes to line units arrived only at the beginning of 1945. The P-80 planes did not take part in World War II. After its completion, the USAAF reduced their original order, and by 1950, 1,715 P-80s of three versions: A, B, and C were finally produced. Serial versions were powered by the Allison J33-A-35 engine. The modified P-80B, dubbed the XP-80R, set a speed record of 1003.9 km / h on June 19, 1947. The P-80s were massively used in the Korean War, but due to their inferior parameters to the Mig-15, they were replaced by the F-86 Saber. After being withdrawn from service, they were used as attack aircraft and support the battlefield. There was also a training version called T-33, which was produced until 1959. Nearly 7,000 aircraft of this version were built! Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Unimodels Šifra proizvoda: um254 Težina 0.13 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 6.8.2012 Tagovi T-34 The T-34 was a Soviet medium tank from the Second World War and the post-war period. The first prototypes were built in 1937-1940, and serial production in the USSR was carried out in 1940-1957. About 84,000 vehicles of this type were built in its course, which makes the T-34 one of the most produced tanks in history! The drive was provided by a single engine V-2-34 with a power of 500 hp. The length of the car - in the T34 / 76 version - was 6.68 m, with a width of 3 meters. The armament consisted of a 76.2 mm F-34 gun and two 7.62 mm DT machineguns. The main armament in the T-34/85 version was the 85mm ZIS-S-53 gun. The T-34 is undoubtedly one of the most famous tanks in the history of both World War II and military in general, representing a specific symbol of Soviet victory in the war with the Third Reich. The vehicle was developed for the needs of the Red Army as a successor to the so-called pursuit tanks from the BT series (BT-5 and BT-7), but also the T-26 tank. Work on the car started in 1937 in a special design office at the Steam Engine Factory in Kharkiv. Initially, the works were managed by Eng. Adolf Dik (he also made the first sketches of the new car), and after his arrest by the Soviet security authorities, Mikhail Koszkin managed the work. Initially, the vehicle was designated as A-20. However, a second prototype (A-32) was quickly built, with a main armament in the form of a 76.2 mm cannon and much thicker frontal armor. It was the latter prototype that was finally adopted for production. It can be assumed that when it was introduced into service, the TT-34 was a very successful tank in many respects. It was characterized - as in 1940 - with a very strong weapon, it had a well-profiled armor based on sloped armor plates, as well as very high mobility and off-road driving properties. The disadvantages include the very poor ergonomics of the car or the poor optics used in the first production batches. Despite these shortcomings, when the T-34 appeared on the Eastern Front, German troops were greatly surprised by it. The high overall rating of the T-34 and its combat values determined its mass production and making it the basic tank of the Red Army during the fights in 1942-1945. They also resulted in further improvements to the structure, e.g. in 1942 a new hexagonal tower appeared, improving the quality of work of crew members with the commander's cupola. The engine and gearbox were also improved. However, in 1944, the T-34/85 model was introduced into service, with a completely new three-man turret and the main armament in the form of an 85 mm cannon. The T-34 tank fought in virtually all major battles fought between the Red Army and the Wehrmacht on the Eastern Front in 1941-1945: starting at the Battle of Moscow, through the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk, Operation Bagration, and the capture of Berlin. After 1945, the T-34 tank was still in service, it was also widely exported outside the USSR to countries such as Czechoslovakia, Poland, East Germany, Hungary and Syria. Greška u opisu? Length: 13cm FSC Żuk is a Polish delivery vehicle that was first presented to the general public in 1958 at the Poznań International Fair. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1959-1998. It gave concerts in the cities of Lublin and Hungarians in Poland, it was also licensed in Egypt. About 590,000 copies of this car were produced in the course of production. The main constructors of Żuk were engineers Stanisław Tański and Roman Skwarek. The Żuk model was designed and put into production to replace the FSC Lublin-51 car on the market. It differed from its predecessor in many ways. First of all, it was based on the FSO Warszawa passenger car and shared the chassis, some of the engines and the running gear. Also, the body and the body were completely changed, which was now closed in many versions. The FSC Żuk produced in Poland was powered by various engines ranging from 54 to 70 HP. It was also available in several body versions, including: towos, van, minibus or pick-up. On its basis, specialist versions were also created, such as an ambulance or a police car. The car was very popular, despite its disadvantages - first of all it was characterized by poor durability of the suspension, which was highly emergency, with a small track, which had a negative effect on the road properties and high center of gravity. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2012, so the model was produced for over 40 years! Over 5 million cars of this model were created in the course of production. Production was concentrated mainly in the cities of Okazaki in Japan and Normal in the United States. Mitsubishi Galant was developed and put into production in order to expand the company's offer and - initially - to increase its share in the segment of lower-middle class cars. The first generation of the Galant model was called the Colt Galant and was largely based on the Colt 1500 model, both in terms of design and technical solutions. However, the success of this version and the changing automotive market made the Galant model remain in 1983 repositioned and transferred to the middle class car segment. This entailed changes in design, but also an increase in travel comfort, the introduction of a wider range of engines and offering a richer basic equipment. In the course of production, the car could be powered by one of several 4- or 6-cylinder engines with a capacity of 1.6 to 3.8 liters, which could work with a manual, semi-automatic or automatic gearbox. As many as 9 generations of the Galant model were created in the course of production, the last of which was presented in 2004. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

VIII was a Polish reconnaissance and bomber plane from the interwar period and World War II. The machine was built in a biplane system, it had a mixed structure and a fixed (classic) or float undercarriage. The prototype flight took place in 1928. Serial production was carried out in the years 1928-1930. The drive was provided by various engines ranging from 550 to 650 HP. The deck armament consisted of three 7.7 mm machine guns. The machine could also carry bomb loads of up to 300 kilograms. Lublin R.VIII was developed and put into production on the wave of considerable interest in Polish aviation at the end of the 1920s in a linear plane, i.e. one that would be responsible for the reconnaissance of enemy forces, bombing its positions and cooperation with its own land forces. Several versions of this aircraft were created in the course of serial production, differing mainly in the power unit. A seaplane was also built, produced for the Polish Navy, with a fixed, float undercarriage, designated as Lublin R. VIII bis. Aircraft of this type took part in the September campaign in 1939 to a limited extent. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The parties to the conflict were the Afghan communist government, supported on a large scale by the USSR, and partisan (mujahedin) troops who did not agree to Soviet intervention and far-reaching secularization and atheization of the state. The Mujahideen relatively quickly received extensive, albeit unofficial, aid from the United States. The immediate cause of the conflict was the USSR's desire to increase its role in Central Asia, and above all, to increase its influence in Afghanistan. Soviet troops fighting in this war were part of the so-called The Limited Contingent of Soviet Forces in Afghanistan, which was primarily made up of the forces of the 40th Army. It is worth adding that at the very beginning of the war, the Soviet army engaged about 81,000 in the conflict. people, approx. 2,400 armored vehicles (including tanks) and approx. 500 aircraft. Over time, these forces have grown significantly. The Afghan War was, like the Vietnam War, a classic example of guerrilla warfare, which, in addition, was fought in terrain definitely unfavorable to Soviet troops. Moreover, Soviet soldiers were ill-trained to lead such an asymmetric conflict. Also, the Soviet equipment and doctrine, designed for the full-scale conflict in Central and Western Europe, did not always work. Ultimately, the war ended with the defeat of the Soviet Union, which suffered a huge and prestigious defeat. It is also assumed that the war hastened the collapse of the Soviet Union.
