With this setup, DANTE users can enjoy the excellent sound quality of both the Titan and Atlas A/D and D/A converters, and their equally well regarded on-board microphone preamplifiers. Titan was recently rated ‘the pinnacle of USB recording’ with ‘fantastic converters and mic pre’s’ by John Gatski, of Everything Audio Network. Control of the Prism Sound Titan or Atlas units when connected to DANTE is easy. When connected over a network the units are controlled using a dedicated software app that is available for both Mac and Windows. This enables you to control the units from any computer on the network or via its dedicated USB port. The set up information can be stored for instant recall within the dedicated app unlike many third party interfaces whose settings cannot be recalled.

Line, instrument, or microphone sources can be connected via the stereo 1/4" TRS inputs, two 1/4" instrument inputs, and two XLR 3-pin inputs. Phantom power is selectable as are the input pads and built-in limiters. The four 1/4" line outputs are ideal for connecting to speakers and power amps, while the front-panel 1/4" jack offers dedicated level and mix controls for independent headphone monitoring. Additionally, digital connectivity includes RCA coaxial for S/PDIF or AES3, TOSLINK optical for S/PDIF or ADAT, and BNC for word clock. An RJ45 port is present for future AVB integration. The Lyra 2 is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows systems via its class-compliant USB 2.0 connectivity. An IEC power cable, USB cable, and XLR to RCA adapters are included. Signal Path Analog and digital input channels are available as inputs for your audio workstation software through the host computer's audio driver. Similarly, analog and digital outputs, and stereo headphone outputs can be played independently. For low-latency monitoring to headphone or main outputs, each output pair can optionally be driven from the built-in DSP mixer with an individual local mix of any selection of inputs through the controller applet. All analog inputs are electronically balanced with automatic unbalanced operation. Analog outputs are electronically balanced with bootstrapping (level is maintained if one leg is grounded). Verifile Technology Verifile is a radical new proprietary technology exclusive to Prism Sound, which allows computer audio streams and recorded files to be quickly checked for a wide range of clicks, errors, and dropouts, without any compromise in the audio content or any additional metadata. Verifile is a fragile steganographic process, which embeds derivative data within the dither of the ADC, containing a rolling hash code which allows the audio data to be thoroughly and continuously checked. Recovery of this data from the audio stream or file enables verification that the stream or file contains exactly the audio data that was produced by the ADC at the time of recording. Any incorrect samples, missing or repeated audio segments or any other audio errors in the resulting files can be reliably detected, providing complete confidence that the recorded file is error-free. Processing such as EQ, level changes, additional redithering, or sample-rate conversion done to a Verifile recording will result in a failure to decode the rolling hash code in the dither and hence indicate that the recording is not an original. Reliable Quality Prism Sound uses precise software calibration techniques in its converters to avoid the unreliability of pots and tweaks. Minimizing noise, interference, and hum was a priority in the design. All the analog circuits have galvanic isolation, while the unit's electronically balanced I/O allows it to handle common mode interference sources and trouble-free connection to unbalanced equipment. USB 2.0 Compatibility The Lyra 2 is easy to connect to your computer and to your outboard gear. For both Mac and Windows platforms, there is a controller application to configure the unit and control its built-in mixer and various functions. Aside from the monitor and headphone level controls, everything else is operated solely from the Lyra controller application. The controller software opens on-screen as a separate panel alongside your existing editing software. Since the Lyra 2 is UAC2 compliant, it will also work with recent Linux and Android builds, although no control panel is provided. Flexible I/O Utilizing the same mic amps as Orpheus, the Lyra offers software-controlled gain in 1 dB steps, switchable phantom power, 20 dB pads, and low noise and distortion. The inputs are auto-sensing with software override. Inputs one and two can be microphone, instrument, or line. Analog inputs have individually-selectable Prism Sound Overkiller peak limiters built in—just as on the ADA-8XR and Orpheus—to catch those fast transients. The Overkiller threshold automatically follows the operating line-level selection (+4 dBu or -10 dBV). Overkillers are ideal for percussive sounds, particularly drums, where headroom can be a problem. The coaxial digital I/O can be switched in the Lyra 2 controller applet between S/PDIF and AES3 formats. This control changes the operating voltage and the channel status format and is complemented by two supplied adapters that provide external XLR connections for AES3 devices. The optical digital I/O ports on Lyra 2 can also be configured as ADAT I/O. Other connections include word clock sync I/O on BNC connectors. Low-Latency Digital Mixer A built-in digital mixer can be configured from the host computer to provide foldback feeds to performers, each with their own stereo mix of workstation playback and any of the inputs. This provides console quality local mixing—each output has its own independent mixer, with channel strips for all inputs and workstation feeds, complete with fader, pan/balance pot, solo and mute buttons, and full metering. Strips can be stereo or mono, and the mixes are dithered with filtered coefficients, just as in a top-end digital mixer. With the Prism Sound DSP mixer, the latency is as low as 0.08 ms at a 192 kHz sampling rate. Sample Rate Conversion & Noise Shaping Prism Sound's renowned synchronous sample-rate conversion allows outputting to various external devices at other sampling rates. The sample rate converter can be used at the outputs as well as the inputs, so as well as dealing with unsynchronised or wrong-rate digital inputs, Lyra can also generate, say, a live 44.1 kHz output from a 96 kHz session. The digital output is equipped with the four Prism Sound SNS noise-shaping curves, allowing you to reduce to 16-bits for CD at mastering-house quality. Control several interfaces simultaneously And because it communicates with TotalMix FX (via USB) it is compatible to all RME audio interfaces that are detected and supported by TotalMix FX. This goes back to RME interfaces released 2001! As soon as the ARC USB is connected to a computer any button press or wheel turning will cause the respective action performed by TotalMix FX - and therefore also by the RME audio interface. With the UFX+ and UFX II the ARC USB can also be connected directly to these devices, currently the only RME interfaces having an internal USB 1.1 host with matching connector. This way of connecting is handy in stand-alone mode, where the ARC USB is also supported by the UFX+ and UFX II. The ARC USB is bus powered, but draws only little current. Also it uses USB 1.1 as bus standard, which these days is uncritical due to its lower frequency and speed demands. USB 2 cables with 5 meter to 10 meter length, and cheap USB 2 cable extensions that usually make a bus-powered interface fail will work perfectly for the ARC USB. Still at higher lengths RME recommends to use active USB 2 cables (also called extension or repeater cables), which are not expensive and work over lengths of more than 20 meters. The ARC USB can control several interfaces simultaneously, which happens automatically as the Key Commands dialog in TotalMix FX is specific to the currently selected audio interface. Just assign only the functions that are desired for each respective interface. After that the ARC USB keys and the encoder wheel remote the respective interface where they have been assigned to, without the need to further switch or select anything in normal operation. ARC USB AND UFX+ / UFX II IN STAND-ALONE MODE In stand-alone mode of Fireface UFX+ / UFX II a fixed set of functions is activated on the keys: Row 1: Setup 1-4 Row 2: Setup 5-6 x x Row 3: Mono, Volume Phones 1, Volume Phones 2, DIM Lower keys: DURec: Rec, Play/Pause, Stop x = no function The included stickers also offer the stand-alone layout. In the UFX+ / UFX II display’s menu the way of operating the ARC USB can be configured for stand-alone mode. Those options are found under SETUP/REV, Options, Hardware/Diagnosis: STANDALONE ARC VOLUME Deactivates all keys. Only the encoder wheel works, with a fixed assignment to Main Volume. This option is also a safety function in case the ARC USB is connected to the UFX+ / UFX II, but oper-ated online (with computer). When the system goes offline (computer removed, sleep state…) the functions on the keys change, because online mode changed to stand-alone mode. Operating the keys then could activate unintended functionality or changes. STANDALONE ARC 1 S OP Each key has to be pressed for one second to activate the programmed functionality. This safety function prevents unintentional changes. It can be stored within the Setups, activating this mode automatically when such a Setup is loaded. When loading a Setup where this function had not been active this mode is automatically deactivated at the UFX+ / UFX II.

Only iRig HD 2 gives you so many player-centric features in such a compact, affordable and professional level mobile guitar interface. And, since we pioneered the mobile music revolution and invented the mobile guitar interface way back around the dawn of prehistoric smartphone times, we know a few things about playing guitar on the go. When we say, “a higher level,” we mean you simply won’t find better with this many features and this much value. Ready to play and record at a higher level? Read on…. 24-bit/96kHz Pristine noiseless sound First and foremost, iRig HD 2 simply sounds amazing. It features superior digital audio quality with premium 24-bit A/D converters and a 96kHz sample rate — the highest in its class — for a crystal clear digital signal that’s free from noise and crosstalk. This pure high resolution conversion lets your guitar’s natural performance tone come through loud and clear when playing and recording on your iPad, iPhone, Mac or PC. It’s super-transparent preamp ensures that every nuance — from the pickups, wood tone, string size, nut material, electronics, and every other reason you picked “that” guitar in the first place — is accurately communicated to your device with zero coloration or interference. And because of it’s 96kHz sample rate, the depth and clarity of your sound will simply floor you — iRig HD 2 sounds amazing. Amp Out with dual mode switch One of the things that makes the iRig HD 2 unique is the ability to send your processed signal directly to a guitar amp without the need for special conversion adapters. iRig HD 2 features an unbalanced 1/4" Amp Out jack that you can use to send your processed or unprocessed guitar signal to an external amplifier, floor tuner or completely different rig setup for live performance. The Amp Out jack features a dual mode switch allowing you to choose what type of signal you want to send to your amp. The “FX” setting sends your processed signal, or the sound coming out of your software/app to the external device. This is perfect when you want to use your iPad or Laptop as your effects pedalboard, your amp’s front end or complete tone rig in a live setting. The “Thru” setting sends your guitar’s dry, unprocessed signal directly to the out jack, allowing you to use a floor-based or rack tuner, a pedalboard or even an additional full-on stage rig. Plus as an added performance feature, iRig HD 2 has an integrated microphone stand “clip” and Velcro strap so you can secure it to a mic stand on stage for live performance. iPhone 7 ready If you’re contemplating upgrading to the latest and greatest iPhone, then listen up. iRig HD 2 sports a new 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone jack with preamp and level control integrated into the unit so you can monitor your recording and playing… even if your device doesn’t feature a headphone jack. Pretty smart. But this is no ordinary standard “headphone” jack — it features a high-resolution headphone preamp that optimizes the audio signal for full range playback and monitoring. You can also use this output to send a stereo signal out to a mixing console or a pair of powered monitors like iLoud Micro Monitor. Full AmpliTube versions included Need tone? Compatibility is key As we've said, iRig MIDI 2 is the first portable MIDI interface that’s compatible with Apple's Lightning cable. This, however, does not come at the expense of universal support. At the center of iRig MIDI 2 is its detachable Mini-DIN connector, which lets you attach a Lightning (included), USB (included), OTG to Mini-DIN (optional), 30-pin (optional) cable depending on the mobile device or computer that you'd like to use. Now you have the flexibility to use MIDI with whatever device you want, anytime, and anywhere. All-platform It’s all about the connections iRig MIDI 2 is small, but it can be made even smaller when all of its cables are detached. Because of its Mini-DIN connector, you can remove all cables for extreme portability: Now you have something that you can easily carry with you in your pocket to any gig, performance, studio or jam session. In addition, all iRig MIDI 2 cables are bumper friendly, which means you can connect and start jamming without having to remove your mobile device's protective carrying case. Mobile MIDI like never before Like iRig MIDI before it, iRig MIDI 2 features three MIDI ports: IN, OUT and THRU. But this time around the ports are standard-sized and require no adaptor or special cable to use — in fact, you can use any standard MIDI cable you'd like. These ports give you all the control and connectivity that MIDI allows: Use the IN port to use external keyboards and controllers to play your favorite software sound modules and synthesizers. Use the OUT port to control external hardware or synthesizers from your mobile device or computer. And you can use the THRU port to send MIDI data to multiple instruments at once. Monitoring MIDI data with iRig MIDI 2 is easy, it comes with two LEDs that give you an at-a-glance readout of the note data as it passes through the IN and OUT ports. A whole suite of apps With iRig MIDI 2, you get more than just a supremely portable MIDI interface; you also get a full suite of music creation apps. As soon as you open the box you'll be ready to go. iOS users get two of IK’s most popular mobile apps: SampleTank FREE is a sound and groove workstation filled with hundreds of high-quality instruments and patterns. iGrand Piano FREE is a concert-quality piano app that puts world-class piano sounds at your fingertips. Inputs/Outputs:2 x MADI I/O, optical and coaxial (BNC) MIDI input and output: via virtual MIDI port Clock modes: master (internal) and slave (MADI input) Sample rates: 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192 kHz, variable (Sync/DDS) Jitter: < 1 ns, internal and all inputs Jitter sensitivity: PLL operates even at 100 ns Jitter Seamless Redundancy operation with both inputs TotalMix: 2048 channel mixer with 48-bit internal resolution TotalMix: latency-free submixes and perfect ASIO Direct Monitoring Interface: USB 2.0, bus-powered Comes with DIGICheck, RME's ultimate measurement, analysis and test tool A perfect companion Mixer, router, format converter, stream splitter, signal repeater - the MADIface USB is a perfect addition to any MADI system. Clock sources can be selected via MADI, AES or Word Clock. You can use it to create redundancy, for automatic failover, and even for creating mixes with extremely low latency between the optical, coaxial and USB 2.0 audio inputs altogether! The MADIface USB can be easily integrated into a broad range of applications. MADI portability at its best! The compact MADIface USB provides MADI I/O over USB 2.0 while supporting the format's full 64 channels for recording and playback, under Mac and Windows. Both inputs can be used for full redundancy operation. Optionally both MADI I/Os can be operated simultaneously for full 128 channel input and output access, mixed and routed by TotalMix. Even without computer the small box delivers extraordinary bi-directional format converter and active repeater functionality. Its sturdy and bus-powered design makes it as easy to use as reliable in operation. MADIface USB is both MADI portability at its best as also a perfect desktop solution to connect MADI equipment to any Mac and PC. A real gem in flexibility, usefullness and trouble-free operation - as you expect it from RME. Features and Operation Modes MADIface USB offers several operation modes when used with a Mac or Windows computer: 64 Channel Mix, Redundancy mode, 128 Channel Mix and a straight routing mode. The option Disable TotalMix completely disables TotalMix, the unit's flexible internal mixer and routing matrix. All input and output data is going straight to record/coming from playback, with no mixing or routing involved. In this mode the outputs are mirrored, carrying the same signal. In 64 Channel Mix mode TotalMix shows 64 input, playback and output channels. All settings in TotalMix use the data from one MADI input port, and send identical data to both MADI output ports. The currently active MADI input port can be configured in the Settings dialog. The option AutoSelect activates an automatic input selection. Using both inputs at the same time, AutoSelect puts the device into Seamless Redundancy mode. The MADIface USB will switch to the other input in real-time if the current one fails. In 128 Channel Mix mode record and playback is still limited to 64 channels, with the current input selected in the Settings dialog. But the other input is also available through TotalMix, and the output signal is not mirrored, but separated, with TotalMix having 128 output channels. Applications like independent mix output, monitoring and serial pass-through of the second source are just a few clicks away. SteadyClock as well as RME's well known MADI compatibility ensure hassle-free operation with other devices. MIDI over MADI technology may be used to remote-control other MADI devices. DIGICheck, an included complete audio analyzing suite, supports the user under Mac OS X and Windows. DIGICheck - Test, Measurement and Analysis Tool for Mac & Windows The Interface comes with RME's unique software tool box for metering, testing, measuring and analyzing digital audio streams. On Mac OS X provides unique functions and features of the spectral analysis of the data calculated in hardware level right through to sophisticated multi-channel level meter. On Windows, an additional multi-track recorder and the display of playback data from an audio software are also available.
