The R Series The R11 is the largest model in the new R Series from UK-based innovators, KEF. It comes before the R7 and R5 floorstanding speakers in terms of size and specification and makes a great accompaniment to the R3 bookshelf speakers and R6 or R2 centre speakers. The R Series is packed full of the latest and greatest innovations from KEF; such features as the trailblazing Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) and Uni-Q® drivers, found in their flagship Reference series and LSX II respectively, are an indicator of great performance. Uni-Q® Across all seven models of the R series, there features the Uni-Q® driver array, consisting of a high-frequency tweeter at the centre of a mid-range driver. On the R11 speaker, this combined unit is found located between four bass drivers—two above and two below. The purpose of such a driver unit is to extend the ‘sweet spot’, thereby yielding optimal listening over a larger area of your room. Now in its twelfth generation, this driver design is the outcome of many technological advancements and in-house modifications. This newest iteration has been designed to perfectly complement the Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) at the centre of KEF’s R series, resulting in incredible sonic detail. A flexible decoupled chassis is one factor contributing to this; such support around the mid-range driver of the R11 speakers minimises midrange vibration to promote ultimate clarity. Metamaterial Absorption Technology The key performance feature of the R11 floorstanding speakers—and the R series more broadly—is the incorporation of Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). It sounds impressive, but what is this exactly? Metamaterial Absorption Technology is a What Hi-Fi? award-winning innovation by KEF in collaboration with the Acoustic Metamaterials Group. It is an absorption solution for speaker drivers which successfully diminishes 99 of unwanted sound. This is approximately 40 better absorption than other loudspeakers, leading to a noticeable difference in sonic clarity and naturalism. Quadruple Bass Definition With a fantastic four bass drivers, the R11 is extremely well-equipped to meet your low-frequency demands. However, with greater bass comes the challenge of control, something KEF has tackled with a two-part structure consisting of a shallow concave aluminium skin and paper cone. The former delivers the stiffness needed to manage resonance and enforces smooth piston movement. Unwanted resonance is further limited by a sophisticated suspension, keeping everything agile for punchy, yet precise bass. Rear-Ported Power Despite having a rear port, the R11 speakers manage to avoid any unwelcome resonance and turbulence through the application of computational fluid dynamics. The results of such calculations are flexible port walls and a strategically sized port flare and profile. Sounds are ultimately untouched by distortive colouration and vibration. Stereo and Home Theatre The R11 Meta floorstanding speakers work great in both stereo or home theatre configurations; for music or film and television. Regardless of room size, the R11 speakers will perform their high-fidelity duties and serve up true-to-recording music or realistic and cinematic sounds. Due to the consistency in driver design and placement across the R series, a full home theatre using R series speakers offers uniformity that’s hard to come by. Features Twelfth generation Uni-Q driver array has been refined over time for next-level clarity Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) diminishes the chance of high-frequency distortion Flexible decoupling chassis helps prevent vibration and noise colouration in the midrange Frequencies meet and mix with an enhanced crossover, resulting in an unspoiled signal delivery Ideal for both stereo and home theatre setups Hybrid aluminium bass drivers with improved stiffness and suspension eliminates unwanted resonance Flexible rear port optimised for minimal sound colouration with computational fluid dynamics A ‘Constrained Layer Damping’ bracing system keeps cabinetry inert Microfibre grilles are included for sleek protection of your speakers’ drivers without inhibiting performance What’s in the Box? The benchmark of benchmarks Since 1973, The Reference has continually set the benchmark for loudspeakers and sound reproduction. Pioneering the use of digital technologies to achieve the highest audio accuracy, every pair can be matched within 0.5dB to the laboratory-maintained reference standard. Always innovating Since the first Reference speaker, KEF engineers have continued to innovate using what is possible with The Reference. Ground-breaking in its first incarnation, each subsequent iteration of The Reference has added to the world’s knowledge of the science of acoustics. Designed, engineered and handcrafted in UK Since 1961, we have been creating remarkable award-winning loudspeakers at our UK home in Maidstone, Kent. As our flagship HiFi speakers, The Reference is still being designed, engineered, and handcrafted in Maidstone today. KEF Reference 3 Meta speakers are the latest version of these excellent floorstanders, perhaps the sweet spot in the Reference range - offering greater low frequency extension over Reference 1 Meta, in a more compact size than Reference 5 Meta, making them well suited to most rooms. In their pursuit of that extra marginal gain in an audio world – KEF have taken their already outstanding Reference 3 Meta floor-standing speakers and elevated them to a new level of performance with the introduction of MAT (Metamaterial Absorption Technology). The Summit Of Standards You can trace the lineage of the Reference 3 Meta back to the 1970’s when KEF and their master craftsman created the first in a long line of award-winning floor-standing speakers where quality and design were unleashed to create the ultimate statement and marriage of design and audio technology. Fast forward to today and the Reference 3 Meta represents the newest generation of the KEF family. All the time retaining what made KEF so revered and adored by audiophiles and those who just want a damn good speaker alike. A New Metaverse On the Reference 3 Meta, the drive units are in a 12th generation Uni-Q drive array with the high-frequency 25mm (1”) aluminium dome unit being equipped with Metamaterial absorption technology (MAT) which is a radical departure and change that the speaker world sees once in a generation. MAT delivers a 99% absorption rate from the rear of the drive unit – effectively wiping out distortion in a single stroke giving you the purest listen, you can ever want. Superb Driving The drive units alongside the high-frequency driver (in the Uni-Q array) are designed to perfectly work with each other with a 125mm (5”) aluminium cone, which itself delivers a fantastic response across the spectrum, which when paired with a bass unit that itself is a pair of 165mm (6.5”) cones that make the Reference 3 Meta a true champion of sound Excellent Response Frequency response on the Reference 3 Meta is outstanding with the short port giving you a response of 38Hz – 45kHz (-6dB) and the longer port giving you a response of 35Hz to 45kHz (-6dB) which ensures a complete coverage from a bookshelf style speaker that has never been seen or felt before. Power To The Speakers With all this technology packed into a small speaker cabinet, you would think that these units would require a lot of power from an amplifier, but that is not the case with these speakers as they require 50 – 300W maximum, meaning they will happily work with any amplifier. Design Three-way bass reflex Drive units Uni-Q driver array: HF: 25 mm (1 in.) aluminium dome with MAT MF: 125 mm (5 in.) aluminium cone Bass units: LF: 2 x 165 mm (6.5 in.) aluminium cone Frequency range free field (-6dB) Short port: 38Hz - 45kHz Long port: 35Hz - 45kHz Frequency range typical in room bass response (-6dB) 28Hz Frequency response (±3dB) 43Hz – 35kHz Crossover frequency 450 Hz, 2.1 kHz Amplifier requirements 50 - 300W Sensitivity (2.83V/1m) 86dB Harmonic distortion 2nd & 3rd harmonics (90dB, 1m) <0.5% 40Hz – 100kHz <0.2% 200Hz – 2kHz <0.1% 2kHz - 20kHz Maximum output (peak sound pressure level at 1m with pink noise) 113.5dB Impedance 4 Ω (min. 3.2 Ω) Weight 51.3 kg (113.1 lbs.) Nothing looks, or sounds, quite like Nautilus. A revolution when it launched and still an icon today. Its ethos informs everything we do. Nautilus comes in three standard colors: midnight blue, black, and silver. We also offer a special service that can match any color from a sample or color reference. Redefining sound The long, tapered damping tubes were a revolution, allowing the drive units to work optimally by gently absorbing stray energy. Shaped by sound At a glance, you can see Nautilus is no ordinary speaker, and after nearly three decades it still defines high-end audio. Making magic Constructing the complex shapes and precision drive units demands decades of experience and exacting attention to detail. Crafting a classic Nautilus speakers are hand-built to order, alongside the 800 Series Diamond™, by a dedicated specialist team in the Worthing factory. Infinite colors Nautilus comes in three standard colors: silver, black and midnight blue. But, as befits such a unique speaker, we also offer a special service that can match any color you specify. Setting the standard for the future The striking spirals and tubes of Nautilus came from our research into making speaker drive units behave as we wanted: this Nautilus Tube technology, for which we won a Queen's Award for Innovation, is now found in almost every speaker we make. Thinking beyond the box Nautilus is quite unlike a conventional box speaker: to package our unique Nautilus tubes for use in the home, our designers developed the striking, and space-efficient, spiral form from which the speaker takes its name. But why the Nautilus tube? We want to hear a speaker driver, not its side-effects – conventional boxes contain sound from the rear of the driver, but bring their own problems. Nautilus tapering tubes soak up wayward energy and reduce resonances to the point of insignificance. Product Description KEF Muon Flagship Speaker draws on the expertise of Ross Lovegrove to transform the finest acoustic engineering into the ultimate loudspeaker form with build integrity. It is sculpted from super-formed aluminium to produce a smooth-edged yet incredibly rigid shape using an evolutionary process to ensure it is perfectly suited to meet the purpose. Technology The powerful bass drivers grant superior bass reproduction and are complimented by key technologies driving the upper mid-range and treble such as Uni-Q driver array for seamless imaging across the entire listening area. ACE (Acoustic Compliance Enhancement) effectively doubles available volume using activated carbon to adsorb air molecules. Muon has succeeded in setting a major benchmark in acoustic transparency. Musical Form Ross Lovegrove's polished aluminium design creates the ideal environment for the drivers to deliver seamless, open sound. The curvaceous form reminiscent of a torso breaks up the aesthetic cabinet mass while providing a smooth, immaculate surface to radiate a field of pure audio. The result is an unprecedented 3D presence. Muon's 6mm thick aluminium shell grants a completely rigid structure for lowest sound-distorting vibrations. Strengthening braces and a damping-compound coating within makes the entire speaker fully inert even at loud volumes. Uni-Q drive array KEF's proprietary 'sit anywhere' Uni-Q driver positions the tweeter in the sonic core of the midrange cone creating a sole, focused source of sound that is widely and evenly dispersed across the room. The smooth curved cabinet boosts the benefits of Uni-Q by eliminating sharp edges that cause diffraction and blur image. This produces truly remarkable sound quality with no obvious "sweet spot" effect experienced anywhere in the listening environment. Muon Story A genuinely stunning presentation of sound-engineering and ground-breaking design, Muon is built individually and meticulously measured in incredibly precise anechoic chambers to ensure top performance. The unique frequency response curve is presented on a supplied certificate signed by the expert craftsman behind it. Muon is an extraordinary sculpture piece as much as it is the ultimate sound system. Wide Bandwidth Muon's outstanding sonics are due to its unconventionally wide bandwidth which replicates incredible highs and lows in your audio that are perceived beyond just listening to adding an extra dimension of realism. Form is wrapped around sound proving that exceptional design and superior audio are not mutually exclusive. An exquisite exhibition of British engineering and design at its very best. Kevlar Drivers Following the successful incorporation of carbon fibre drivers, ProAc developed new "K series" drivers made from Kevlar. Kevlar features similar benefits to carbon fibre in that it's light and at the same time rigid. The ProAc 6 1/2” drivers utilised in the K6 feature Kevlar cones made by the same special method as our carbon fibre coned drive units; the cone is painstakingly produced from a mould by hand, a labour intensive process taking many hours to complete. Although Kevlar has proven to be an excellent cone material sonically, the Kevlar ProAc bass drivers require a different porting mechanism in order to realise their full potential. The bass is loaded by an almost invisible vent to produce a wonderfully weighty but exceptionally fast bass response. These drivers are seamlessly crossed over to a 2” dome midrange, the horn of which is manufactured from billet aluminium and for the high frequencies, ProAc’s proven ribbon tweeter has been chosen. Cabinet Design The cabinet on the K6 is a traditional mixture from ProAc of HDF materials of different thicknesses heavily damped with bitumen. Indeed the carcass including bitumen is 35mm thick. The combination of research into carbon fibre and its ingredients have produced a stunningly accurate and detailed loudspeaker, having an electrostatic or panel quality without the drawbacks. Sound Quality Sound is reproduced effortlessly with incredible detail and pinpoint imagery, which often can be muddled by conventional drive units. The K6 is designed for audiophiles and music lovers who are looking for a true high end loudspeaker offering smooth reproduction and an impressively flat response throughout the frequency range. The legendary ProAc qualities of large soundstaging and pin-sharp imaging capabilities complete a highly musical and engaging transducer. It’s a Wrap The new HTM82 D4 may be our most compact centre-channel speaker, but it shares the design DNA of its larger siblings, including the Reverse Wrap cabinet and Matrix™ bracing. The combination of the two technologies ensures a quieter, more acoustically efficient and better-sounding speaker than ever. Reverse Wrap cabinet Instead of a conventional loudspeaker box, our cabinets are made from a continuous curved section of wood, with the drive units mounted at the heart of the curvature. This stiffer, more inert structure resists mechanical resonances far better and also ensures better dispersion of sound. Continuum™ cone midrange Introduced as a huge evolutionary change for us in 2015, the Continuum cone midrange drive has swiftly become a fundamental element in every Bowers & Wilkins loudspeaker. With exceptionally low noise, it ensures outstanding resolution without colouration or masking of detail. Decoupled midrange assembly HTM82 D4 has a dedicated midrange cone using three key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, Biomimetic Suspension and midrange decoupling, the latter ensuring minimal interference from the operation of the loudspeaker’s bass drivers. The result is outstanding clarity. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. We question, we examine, we understand and then we evolve. We use computer modelling to explore and reimagine every aspect of loudspeaker design. At the centre of it all The centre-channel speaker is arguably the most important in home theatre – and the HTM81 D4 has an enviable array of advanced technologies to reinforce that point, including Solid Body tweeter-on-top, a decoupled Continuum™ Cone midrange drive unit and twin 200mm (8-in) Aerofoil™ bass cones. Aerofoil bass cone Our Aerofoil bass cone technology remains an outstanding solution to the conundrum of combining low mass and high stiffness in bass cones, thanks to its carbon-fibre skin and variable-profile foam core. Now, we have added the foam Anti-Resonance Plug for lower distortion and even cleaner bass. Diamond dome tweeter One of our most significant accomplishments over the past two decades, the ultra-stiff, supremely accurate Diamond dome tweeter is the perfect combination of low mass, exceptional stiffness and outstanding accuracy. 15 years after we introduced it, we haven’t found a better tweeter dome technology. Aluminium bass pods HTM81 D4 mounts two Aerofoil bass cones in twin solid aluminium bass pods, each of which is clamped into an aluminium plate fixed to the stiffest part of its curved cabinet. Formed as single pieces of metal, these stiff structures provide the perfect mechanical location for those powerful bass cones. The science of sound Innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Since 1973, The Reference has continually set the benchmark for loudspeakers and sound reproduction. Pioneering the use of digital technologies to achieve the highest audio accuracy, every pair can be matched within 0.5dB to the laboratory-maintained reference standard. Since the first Reference speaker, KEF engineers have continued to innovate using what is possible with The Reference. The one standmount model in the Reference series could be the only loudspeaker you ever need. A three-way model boasting KEF’s 12th generation Uni-Q® driver array with MAT™, Reference 1 Meta is capable of delivering expansive, high-performance sound that goes way beyond what its relatively compact size would suggest was possible. Now with Metamaterial Absorption Technology The Reference has continually set the benchmark for loudspeakers since its launch in 1973. The perfect reproduction of recorded sound is what The Reference has always stood for. Pioneering the use of digital technologies to achieve the highest audio accuracy, every pair of The Reference series can be matched within half a decibel to the laboratory-maintained reference standard. Exact pair matching delivers perfect stereo reproduction, so these revolutionary speakers won acclaim for the superior acoustic precision. Hence the method became the name: The Reference. Since the first generation, The Reference has been continuously enhanced by new innovations and technological developments. In the latest evolution, The Reference incorporates our latest innovation: Metamaterial Absorption Technology1(MAT™) and continues to be the supreme expression of KEF’s philosophy, where advanced engineering meets inspired design. The Reference are loudspeakers for serious audiophiles who aspire to the perfect enjoyment of music and movies. Whether used in a traditional two-channel HiFi or a multi-channel home theatre, listeners will be able to experience the realistic, immersive sound with breath-taking dynamics, and levels of accuracy that reveal details never noticed before. A class apart The Reference range encompasses two three-way floorstanding speakers, a formidable three-way standmount speaker, and two three-way centre speakers that can be used as Left-Centre-Right (LCR)speakers. The Reference combines phenomenal high-fidelity performance with complete multi-channel versatility. And now new technological advances make The Reference range even more impressive. At the heart of TheReference range now sits a bespoke 12th generation Uni-Q with MAT driver array. This new addition truly puts The Reference range in a class of its own. Revolutionary sound absorption with MAT™ A truly revolutionary tool in the KEF acoustic armoury, Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) is a highly complex maze-like structure, where each of the intricate channels efficiently absorbs a specific frequency. When combined, the channels act as an acoustic black hole, absorbing 99% of the unwanted sound that comes from the rear of the tweeter, eliminating the resulting distortion and providing a purer, more natural acoustic performance. A result of joint development with the Acoustic Metamaterials Group, using MAT breaks completely new ground in loudspeaker design, and once again demonstrates KEF’s unrelenting passion for developing new technologies to improve your listening experience. Metamaterials are specially developed structures that use existing materials in such a way that they exhibit new, desirable properties that are simply not found in naturally occurring substances. 12th Generation Uni-Q with MAT™ delivers The 12th generation Uni-Q with MAT in The Reference is a bespoke driver array engineered to deliver pristine performance across this exceptional range of loudspeakers. It’s the result of decades of accumulated in-house knowledge and the application of cutting-edge simulation and analysis tools. The developments are many and all play a part in The Reference’s pristine performance. As a starting point, KEF engineers re-engineered the tweeter gap damper to maximise the space at the back of the tweeter for the new metamaterial absorber. Optimising the cavity shape and strategically placing two rings of porous material effectively tame the resonances and imperfections, thus greatly improving detail and clarity. A new ultra-low distortion midrange motor design uses a copper ring embedded into the motor gap to minimise inductance and variation of inductance with coil position. This lowers the midrange THD and reduces thermal compression, leading to improved efficiency. The Uni-Q driver array is fully decoupled to prevent unwanted vibrations from muddying the sound. A new flexible decoupling chassis is designed to reduce vibration and remove coloration. It ensures that any vibration generated by the mid and high-frequency motor system is not transmitted to the loudspeaker cabinet. A new driver surround is designed to allow longer excursion without causing diffraction and extending the frequency range of the mid-frequency. Plus, the contours of the dome, midrange horn and surround are all computer-optimised to ensure a perfectly smooth transition to the cabinet. KEF’s patented tangerine waveguide technology manages the airflow to recreate the wide, even spread of a natural sound field, dispersing the astonishingly pure high-frequen cy imaging throughout the room. Reference quality bass High and mid-range frequencies are only part of the story though, and The Reference is also blessed with clean, rich, highly articulate bass. That’s because The Reference’s 165mm (6.5 inch) low frequency driver perfectly complements the new 12th generation Uni-Q with MAT driver array. Smart engineering and meticulous attention to design detail enables the bass to blend seamlessly with the immaculate midrange and treble response. The Reference’s bass driver also benefits from a massive, vented magnet assembly, a large aluminium voice coil and an exceptionally light and stiff alloy cone. As a result of all these technologies volume, dynamics and power handling are superb. Engineered to be flexible The speakers in The Reference range are also welcomingly undemanding in terms of positioning, and are easy to fine-tune for your listening area by using KEF’s innovative Flexible Port Technology, which can reduce port resonance. There are two options of port tubes, allowing users to modify the sound to suit their room. Plus, the flare and profile of each port has been calculated by computational fluid dynamics to avoid turbulent air noise that might colour the sound, another part of the complex jigsaw that is The Reference’s breath-taking performance.

Product Description With the new Response DB1, ProAc has set out to produce a small speaker with a quality of sound normally associated with larger speakers, particularly in the bass response A Smaller Build Although this type of speaker can be accurate and sound better in some areas than some larger loudspeakers, the Achilles’ heel of a small loudspeaker is its bass extension and the size of the sound stage. A big loudspeaker can produce low octaves and exhibit a large sound stage, ideal for large orchestral works and high-level rock however they can dominate the room visually. Resonance Control The DB1 cabinet is slightly larger than the previous D1 model, and is made from different thicknesses of high-density MDF and utilises bituminous damping panels to control cabinet resonances. A newly designed long throw bass driver with raised spider and linear motor system has been incorporated in a rear ported cabinet. The mid/bass driver cone is manufactured from carbon mixed pulp that is then elastic coated and fitted with our ProAc acrylic pole damping phase plug. Superb Performance The new high-quality crossover has been designed to produce a flatter response at high sound levels and the tweeter is a ProAc 1” silk dome similar to that used in the highly successful ProAc Response D2. The result is superb midrange and high-frequency reproduction and in the classic ProAc tradition, low colouration and impressive detail. The new driver produces a wonderful bass quality that is both punchy, extended and in some ways, reminiscent of a larger loudspeaker. Choice of Finish The DB1 also has the type of larger sound stage normally associated with bigger cabinets. The ProAc Response DB1 comes in the real wood veneer standard finishes of cherry, mahogany, black ash & maple together with silk white and the premium veneer finishes of rosewood & ebony. "A genuine bass behemoth that will suit owners of large theatres and those that like a bit of terror with their Blu-rays. " One Subwoofer to Rule Them All. Introducing the PB16-Ultra. An unrelenting passion for breathtaking bass performance and engineering perfection guided every aspect of the PB16-Ultra subwoofer’s development. Groundbreaking technology, rigorous design and extreme testing in real world and laboratory environments allowed SVS to achieve unmatched low frequency extension and output capabilities all while keeping it amazingly detailed and articulate. The culmination of all SVS design advancements, PB16-Ultra represents an incomparable bass experience. Nothing else comes close. Masterful Engineering. 3 Game-Changing Subwoofer Innovations. One of these groundbreaking innovations would’ve been enough to make the PB16-Ultra an engineering tour-de-force, but the combination of 3 subwoofer firsts propels the SVS PB16-Ultra into the pantheon of all-time great audio products. Massive New 16-inch SVS Ultra Driver with Unprecedented 8-inch Edge Wound Voice Coil. When designing the biggest and most formidable driver ever used in an SVS subwoofer, it was of utmost importance to meet or exceed the same supreme standards of control and accuracy as every other subwoofer SVS manufactures. One huge advancement that allows the PB16-Ultra to handle the crushing force of a 16-inch driver is the 8-inch edge wound voice coil, the largest ever deployed in a consumer subwoofer. This innovation ensures ultra-low distortion and pinpoint control at the highest drive levels resulting in incredible output and low frequency extension. By nature, larger drivers are more difficult to control, but the unprecedented voice coil design ensures accuracy in frequency response and speed in transients without ever sounding boomy. Pushing the driver are four massive, dedicated toroidal ferrite magnets that unleash a staggering 95mm peak to peak excursion and the highest levels of motor force and palpable SPLs. The light and rigid 16-inch Ultra driver cone consists of a premium fiberglass resin composite with optimal stiffness to mass ratio to maximize movement of air and sonic energy without ever distorting or losing control. Stunningly Powerful, New Sledge Amplifier with Fully Discrete MOSFET Output and 1,500 Watts Continuous, 5,000+ Watts Peak Power. Conservatively rated at 1,500 watts continuous, 5,000+ watts peak power, the PB16-Ultra Sledge STA-1500D amplifier’s 64 Amp 200-Volt MOSFETs are the sonic muscle behind arguably the most powerful and highest fidelity subwoofer amplifier ever developed. Discrete MOSFET output unbridles the nearly limitless power in the Sledge amplifier and pushes the 16-inch driver to extreme levels of performance. They also represent an upgrade over the less robust integrated circuit output stages found in nearly all other Class D subwoofer amplifiers. Effortless power must be harnessed to ensure refined behavior and pristine output at the most demanding drive levels. To achieve this, the PB16-Ultra subwoofer uses the audio industry’s most advanced 50 MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP with 56bit filtering to handle the nearly limitless power, only unleashing the perfect amount of low frequency energy at just the right time. Innovative New Smartphone App for Subwoofer DSP and Control. Compatible with Apple® and Android® platforms, the innovative PB16-Ultra smartphone app unleashes the full depth, force and nuance of the world’s finest subwoofer. The groundbreaking SVS subwoofer app controls all DSP functions and conveniently stores custom presets. It’s the easiest way ever to fine tune bass surpassing 16Hz at reference volumes from the comfort of your favorite seat. For added convenience, 2-way feedback shows updates in real time on both the app and subwoofer interface and Bluetooth connectivity allows adjustments to be made even when the subwoofer is not in sight. Control is also available via IR remote and an intuitive front panel display. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google Inc. Acoustically Inert, Rigidly Braced Cabinet A subwoofer capable of creating such extreme levels of sonic energy requires a formidable cabinet design. The PB16-Ultra is built with a double thick MDF front baffle and rigid internal bracing to support the massive drive unit and to ensure an acoustically inert environment. The highly reinforced internal design eliminates any chance of coloration or resonance from the cabinet, even when the deepest low frequencies are played at reference sound pressure levels.
