John Elroy Sanford[1] (December 9, 1922 – October 11, 1991), better known by his stage name Redd Foxx, was an American stand-up comedian and actor. Foxx gained success with his raunchy nightclub acts during the 1950s and 1960s. Known as the `King of the Party Records`, he performed on more than 50 records in his lifetime. He portrayed Fred G. Sanford on the television show Sanford and Son[3] and starred in The Redd Foxx Show and The Royal Family. In 2004 Foxx ranked 24th in Comedy Central Presents: 100 Greatest Stand-ups of All Time.[4] Foxx not only influenced many comedians[3] but was often portrayed in popular culture as well, mainly as a result of his catchphrases, body language and facial expressions exhibited on Sanford and Son. During the show`s five-year run, Foxx won a Golden Globe Award and received an additional three nominations, along with three Primetime Emmy Award nominations.[5][6] Foxx was posthumously given a star on the St. Louis Walk of Fame in 1992.[7] Redd Foxx ‎– Foxx-A-Delic Label: Collectors` Choice Music ‎– CCM-971 Format: CD, Album, Reissue Country: US Released: 2008 Genre: Non-Music Style: Comedy Tracklist 1 Foxx-A-Delic 2 Foxx-A-Delic Companies, etc. Copyright (c) – Collectors` Choice Music Phonographic Copyright (p) – Warner Bros. Original, made in Austria Knjizica od 24 str. knjizica 5 Cd 4+/4 Studio album by Michael Jackson Released November 26, 1991 Recorded June 1989 – October 1991[1] Studio Record One, Los Angeles Westlake, Los Angeles Larrabee, Los Angeles Record Plant, Los Angeles Ocean Way, Hollywood Smoketree Ranch, Chatsworth Toad Hall, Pasadena Genre R&Bpopnew jack swing Length 77:03 Label Epic Producer Michael JacksonBill BottrellBruce SwedienTeddy Riley Dangerous is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. It was released by Epic Records on November 26, 1991, more than four years after Jackson`s previous album, Bad (1987). Co-produced by Jackson, Bill Bottrell, Teddy Riley, and Bruce Swedien, the album was Jackson`s first since Forever, Michael (1975) without longtime collaborator Quincy Jones. Guest appearances include Heavy D, Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, Slash and Wreckx-n-Effect. The album incorporates R&B, pop and new jack swing, a growing genre at the time. Elements of industrial, funk, hip hop, electronic, gospel, classical and rock are also present. Twelve of the album`s fourteen songs were written or co-written by Jackson, discussing topics like racism, poverty, romance, self-improvement, and the welfare of children and the world. Dangerous is considered an artistic change for Jackson, with his music focusing on more socially conscious material, and including a broader range of sounds and styles. It features catchy pop hooks and choruses while also introducing underground sounds to a mainstream audience. The album`s tone is noted by critics as gritty and urban, with sounds including synthetic basslines, scratching, and drum machine percussion, as well as unconventional sounds like honking vehicle horns, sliding chains, swinging gates, breaking glass, and clanking metal. Jackson also incorporates beatboxing, scat singing, and finger snapping throughout the album. Dangerous debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top Pop Albums chart and in thirteen other countries, selling 5 million copies worldwide in its first week and went on to be the best-selling album worldwide of 1992. Nine singles premiered between November 1991 and December 1993, including one exclusively released outside North America (`Give In to Me`). The album produced four singles that reached the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100: `Remember the Time`, `In the Closet`, `Will You Be There` and the number-one single `Black or White`. The Dangerous World Tour grossed $100 million (equivalent to $203 million in 2022). Dangerous is one of the best-selling albums of all time, having sold over 32 million copies worldwide, and was certified 8× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in August 2018. Dangerous received worldwide praise, and it influenced contemporary pop and R&B artists. It has been included in several publications` lists of the greatest albums of all time. At the 1993 Grammy Awards, it received four Grammy Award nominations, winning Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, while Jackson was awarded the Grammy Legend Award. Jackson won three American Music Awards at the 1993 American Music Awards, including the inaugural International Artist Award. Jackson also received Billboard Music Awards for Best Worldwide Album and Best Worldwide Single for `Black or White`. Background After the success of his seventh album, Bad (1987), Jackson wanted more independence and control over the creative process. He separated himself from longtime producer Quincy Jones to avoid the perception that his success depended on him. Jackson began working on new tracks in 1989 with a handful of members from the B-team of Bad, including Matt Forger and Bill Bottrell.[2] The album was conceived as a greatest-hits collection, Decade, with a handful of new songs, similar to Madonna`s The Immaculate Collection. Jackson signed off on the idea in early 1989 and test pressings were made by Epic Records. Jackson received $18 million in advance.[3][4] Decade was scheduled for a late 1989 release but was delayed several times. Another release date was set for November 1990, but it never materialized. Jackson was preoccupied with ongoing changes in his management team while also attempting to realize his film-making ambitions.[5] In June 1990, he collapsed while dancing in his home studio due to a possible panic attack, with symptoms of chest pains, dehydration and inflammation of the ribs.[6] Soon after, Decade was dropped entirely, and Jackson determined that his new material constituted a full album, which he called Dangerous.[7] Dangerous track listing No. Title Writer(s) Producer(s) Length 1. `Jam` (with rap by Heavy D) Michael JacksonRené MooreBruce SwedienTeddy Riley JacksonRileySwedien 5:39 2. `Why You Wanna Trip on Me` RileyBernard Belle JacksonRiley 5:24 3. `In the Closet` (duet with Princess Stéphanie of Monaco) JacksonRiley JacksonRiley 6:32 4. `She Drives Me Wild` (with rap by Wreckx-n-Effect) JacksonRileyAqil Davidson JacksonRiley 3:42 5. `Remember the Time` JacksonRileyBelle JacksonRiley 4:01 6. `Can`t Let Her Get Away` JacksonRiley JacksonRiley 4:59 7. `Heal the World` Jackson JacksonSwedien[a] 6:25 8. `Black or White` (with rap by L.T.B.) ; Branko Kosar (legendarni blues klavijaturista i jedan od članova benda Rokeri s Moravu) ; Feđa Franklin (udaraljke – vlasnik HillRiver studija, takođe, član benda Fish In Oil) i Nikola Marković (energični mladi basista). Diskografija – Belgrade Funk Combo (Records DK, 2018) Belgrade Funk Combo su – Ljuba Paunić (saksofon, flauta) ; Vladimir Žutić (gitara) ; Branko Kosar (klavijature) ; Nikola Marković (bass) ; Feđa Franklin (udaraljke) ; Marko Milivojević Nafta (bubnjevi) – uz gostujuće muzičare – Nenad Stefanović (bass, 2,3,9) ; Mirko Kesić (bass, 5,7) ; Milovan Paunović (klavijature, 3) Ekipa iskusnih i cijenjenih beogradskih jazz muzičara, udružila je svoje znanje, snage i vrijeme i za svoj muzički rukopis izabrala funk zvuk obogaćen r&b i soul elementima. Belgrade Funk Combo – “Belgrade Funk Combo” – 1. One, Two ; 2. Tema dana ; 3. Jap Funk ; 4. Sunky ; 5. Strogi Funk ; 6. Opasna igra ; 7. Crno belo ; 8. Velvet Giants ; 9. Let 011

Internationally, he was best known for his 1984 hit, `Survivor`, and his collaborations with American singer Amii Stewart. Career Puccioni formed his first band at age 14 with schoolmates from l`Istituto di Studi Americano in Rome. Under the stage name Mike Francis, he had his first hit with `Survivor` in 1984 and went on to record ten studio albums. Among his best known works is the song `Friends`, a duet with Amii Stewart released in 1984 which became a big hit in the UK and the Philippines. Beginning in 2000, assisted by his brother Mario (Mari-One) and by the Maltese multi-instrumentalist Aidan Zammit, he founded the group Mystic Diversions.[2] Songs by Mystic Diversions were featured on many high-profile chill-out and lounge compilations. In addition to new, original song material, the group also did covers of 1970s and 1980s songs like `Float On` (by The Floaters), and `A Warm Summer Night` (by Chic). The band was composed of members Francesko (Francesco Puccioni), Mari-One (Mari-One Puccioni), and Aidan Zammit. Additional musicians for live sets consisted of Agostino Marangolo (drums), Fabio Pignatelli (bass), Marco Rinalduzzi (guitars), Giovanni Imparato (percussion and vocals), and Wendy Lewis & Laura Serra (backing vocals).[3] His 2007 album Inspired followed the cover of Van Morrison`s `Someone Like You`, together with Blank & Jones for the compilation album Café del Mar Vol. 12. His website states him as saying: `From that moment many other songs were born, in a simple and spontaneous way, simply `inspired`...`[4] Death Puccioni died aged 47 on 30 January 2009 of lung cancer in Rome.[5] His last compilation album The Very Best of Mike Francis (All Was Missing) was released just days before his death.
