Proizvodila je model `Sharon` od 1950. do 1965. godine, a zatim u sastavu Wedgwood group od 1969. do 1983. godine. Kao godina osnivanja preduzeća Adams uzima se ona u kojoj je John Adams (Džon Adams) osnovao radionicu u Staffordshireu (Stafordšajr), u Engleskoj, iako se porodica Adams bavila prozvodnjom grnčarije prethodnih 200 godina. 1779. godine njegov sin William Adams (Vilijem)otvorio je novu fabriku u Tunstallu (Tanstl), i upravo je on najzaslužniji za slavu koju je fabrika stekla. Bio je potpuno posvećen ovom poslu, i poznat kao najomiljeniji učenik, prijatelj i poverenik Josiaha Wedgwooda (Džosaja Vedžvud). Na prelazu u XIX vek kompanija je počela da koristi naziv “William Adams and Sons, Ltd.”, pod kojim je razvila svoje najprodavanije modele. Tokom XX veka fabrika je nastavila tradiciju proizvodnje izvrsnih predmeta, i istovremeno uspešno eksperimentisala sa novim materijalima. Do tada, fabrika je bila u vlasništvu već jedanaeste generacije porodice Adams. Od 1. Januara 1966. godine kontrolu nad kompanijom ipak je preuzela Wedgwood Group. Wedgwood je koristio fabriku i ime Adams, ali je prozvodnja bila sve manje profitabilna, i 1992. godine Wedgwood je odlučio da fabriku zatvori. Odmah nakon te odluke, neko je podmetnuo požar u kojem je fabrika izgorela do temelja. Proizvodila je posuđe, velikim delom za tržište Kanade, SAD, Južne Amerike i Australije. Partnerstvo je raskinuto 1884. godine i Grindley je nastavio sam. 1960. fabriku je otkupila kompanija “Alfred Clough Ltd”. 1978. preimenovana je u “Grindley of Stoke (ceramics) Ltd.” Otkupio ju je “Federated Potteries Co. NAJSTARIJI SRPSKI AUTOGRAM JEDNOG METAL BENDA!!! Ne verujem da postoji, makar nisam čuo ni video, ijedan stariji autogram nekog ovdašnjeg metal benda. Ovaj je star punih 39 godina!!! Autogram karta, jednostrana kolor štampa, 10 x 7,5 cm, gde su se na poleđini potpisali Zlatko (Manojlović), Čeda (Čedomir Petrović) i Sloba (Slobodan Svrdlan). Bio sam klinac od 14-15 godina, i tada sam jedini put u životu napisao pismo nekom rock bendu (eto koliko sam voleo GORDI). Našao sam Zlatkovu novobeogradsku adresu (to je bila adresa i navodnog `fan-kluba`) i obratio mu se sa željom da mi pošalju autograme, i podsetio ga sam mu na jednom od nastupa na Tašu (Hit nedelje 202 prišao i da smo malo ćaskali). Zlatko mi je veoma brzo odgovorio (moram da nađem i taj odgovor, znam da ga nisam bacio), i poslao mi uz njega ovu autogram kartu. Sudbina će odrediti da četvrt veka kasnije reizdam oba metal albuma grupe GORDI, da napišem biografiju benda (nalazi se na omotima, na srpskom i engleskom), da uradim intervju sa njim, da režiram i montiram spotove... Možda toga ne bi bilo da se kao klinac nisam opasno napalio na metal, i to me i dalje drži na neki, možda drugačiji, ali itekako i dalje jak način, o čemu svedoči i ovo silno trošenje vremena na opise oglasa na Kupindu. Znači, ovo je najstariji autogram jednog srpskog metal benda koji je snimio ploču. Definitivno stvar za rock muzej, ili za nekog pravog kolekcionara... p.s. inače, video koji sam prikačio kao ilustraciju ovog oglasa - sam ja lično uradio, editovao, osmislio, montiao - i naravno, niko me nije pomenuo na youtube u credits-ima. Nema veze... p.s.s. U ponudi imam LP i SP ploče grupe GORDI, i to one sa koje je skidan master za reizdanja CD-a, tako da i oni predstavljaju memorabiliju, pa ih potražite u mojoj ponudi ploča. ==================================================================== ROCK MEMORABILIA - ROCK MUZEJ - PROČITAJTE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Na našem tržištu, kao jedan od mnogih nedostajućih segmenata u rock industriji, nedostaje i tržište memorabilia, artifakata prošlosti (ulaznice, flajeri, plakati, originalne fotke, autogrami i sve ostalo vezano za rock muziku, bendove i muzičare). Naravno, dok neko to ne prikupi, neće biti ni otvaranja pravog rock muzeja, mada je više nas o tome maštalo. O tome koliko kod nas nije razvijena svest o važnosti prikupljanja memorabilia, svedoči i to da smo jedina zemlja gde ploča sa autogramom muzičara ima nižu, manju cenu od običnog, dobro očuvanog primerka!!! U svetu, potpisane ploče mogu biti i 1000 puta skuplje od apsolutno novog `glanc` - MINT primerka. Pratite moje oglase na Kupindu. Trudiću se da ono malo što sam sačuvao, slikam i opišem sa svim potebnim informacijama, na način kako se to opisuje u svetu. Na žalost, na hiljade ovakvih stvarčica sam pobacao tokom godina. No, nešto sam i sačuvao. Već i te informacije i fotke će biti možda nekom inspiracija da se potrudi i izloži nam svoju kolekciju ovakvih stvari, a svima vama informacija iz prve ruke, o događajima u kojima sam učestvovao na ovaj ili onaj način, ili im makar bio savremenik, pa će i ta svedočenja jednog dana biti značajna za pisanje neke istorije rock muzike u Srbiji. Posebno su u prikupljanju ove istorijske građe bitni glavni urednici rock novina poput mene. Kod nas su se u najvećoj meri `ulivale` ne samo informacije i muzička izdanja, već i propusnice za koncerte, press-passovi i mnogo, mnogo toga zanimljivog (pisma čitalaca, pisma bendova i sl.). Vreme prolazi i te stvari se gube, bivaju uništene ili bačene. Potrudiću se da ih ovde ovekovečim u e-formi, a i da nekom kolekcionaru ponudim da ih uvrsti u svoju kolekciju. Cene su pažljivo proračunate i određene, u skladu sa raritetnošću, ali i nekim opštim pravilima koja vladaju u svetu za ovakve artifakte. Nisu jeftine jer ovakvo blago nigde u svetu nije jeftino, šta više.
