Godine 1898. učestvovao je u osnivanju Udruženja srpskih umetnika za plastične umetnosti i muziku u Beogradu. Bio je jedan od umetnika koji su 1900. predstavljali Srbiju na Svetskoj izložbi u Parizu. Bio je jedan od osnivača Lade 1904. i član istog društva do 1910. Do početka rata bio je član Medulića, društva srpsko-hrvatskih umetnika. U njegovom slikarskom opusu srećemo brojne pejzaže, među kojima dominiraju oni iz okoline Dubrovnika, zatim brojne portrete, ali je negovao i istorijsko slikarstvo. Стварао је пејзаже (махом из околине Дубровника), портрете и историјске композиције. Његово најпознатије дело је велика историјска композиција „Улазак (Долазак) цара Душана у Дубровник“, за коју је добио бронзану плакету на светској изложби у Паризу 1900. године. Био је римокатоличке вероисповести Живот и дело „Долазак цара Душана у Дубровник“ „Дах дубровачког пролећа“ Основну школу и гимназију је 1883. године завршио у Дубровнику и после је три године студирао теологију у Задру. 1886. године је отишао на студиј у уметничкој академији у Минхену у Немачку и диплпмирао је 1893. године а затим путовао по Риму и Паризу. Од 1898. се настанио у Београду и ту предавао у Другој београдској гимназији и Уметничко-занатској школи, а једно време је био и предавач цртања краљевићу Александру Карађорђевићу. У склопу делегације која је представљала Краљевину Србију на Светској изложби у Паризу 1900. године, Марко Мурат се представио историјском композицијом „Улазак (Долазак) цара Душана у Дубровник“, за коју је награђен бронзаном плакетом. Поред њега, у делегацији је учествовао и Паја Јовановић са монументалном композицијом „Проглашење Душановог законика“, за коју је добио златну плакету. После рата је постао управник за надлештво уметности и споменике у Дубровнику. Био је један од првих импресиониста на словенском југу који је доследно радио у пленеру и тако израдио многе пејзаже из Дубровника и његове околине а радио је и историјске композиције као и портрете. Временом је његова палета постала затворенија и ликови пластичнији. Излагао је на свим значајнијим изложбама у Југославији у Београду и Загребу али и у иностранству у Софији, Минхену, Паризу, Риму, Бечу, Лондону итд.

Stojan Pačov rođen je 1934. godine u Strumici, Makedonija. Akademiju za likovne umetnosti, odsek slikarstva završio 1958. godine u klasi prof. Nedeljka Gvozdenovića, u Beogradu, prenosi Tanjug. Postdiplomske studije je završio kod istog profesora 1960. godine, od kada je i član je ULUS-a. Živeo je i radio u Beogradu. Učestvovao je na više od 150 zajedničkih izložbi, a više puta na izložbama humanitarnih karaktera. Pačov je učestvovao u radu više likovnih kolonija: Strumička internacionalna likovna kolonija (više puta), Likovna kolonija Velušina (Bitola), Likovni susreti `Skadarsko jezero` (Rijeka Crnojevića), na `Borovoj glavi`, na Zlatiboru i u Kikindi. Veći broj radova mu se nalazi u vlasništvu ustanova, galerija i privatnih kolekcija u zemlji i inostranstvu. Stvaralaštvo Stojana Pačova se deli na sedam tematskih oblasti - manastiri, gradski motivi, pejsaži, mrtva priroda, cveće, aktovi i ikone i portreti. Pored slikarstva bavio se i pedagoškim radom, bio je profesor likovnog vaspitanja u Zemunu.

Emil KRENAJZ ( HRENEIS ) Beograd - termoelekrana Snaga i svetlost, o. 1933 akvarel, 19 x 28 cm signirano dole levo „Могао сам да зауставим Лењина!” ДНЕВНИК Суб, 10/23/2010 - 20:40 Да ли би европска и светска историја попримила другачији ток да је пред крај 1917. године аустријски генералштабни пуковник Емил Кренајз, потоњи сремскокарловачки грађанин, знао да се у блиндираном вагону из Швајцарске, преко Беча за Русију, превози главом и брадом друг Владимир Иљич Лењин? – Хатте ицх ја ес нур гењусст, хатте виелеицхт дас сцхицксал Еуропас ганз андере зукунфт ерлебт! (Да сам само тада ово знао, можда би будућност Европе сасвим другачију судбину доживела!) – записао је и дебелом линијом подвукао пуковник Емил Кренајз у свом дневнику, који је педантно и брижљиво водио. Биће да је овај човек врхунског образовања и широких интересовања често размишљао о томе, јер као да никад није прежалио то што су га „околности” омеле да спречи одлазак Лењиновог воза у Русију. Наиме, као начелник Општег одељења за транспорт при Главном генералштабу у Бечу, Емил Кренајз је добио новембра 1917. године запечаћени коверат као изузетно поверљив документ у ком је стајало да „блиндирани вагон композиције из Швајцарске, одређеног датума и часа, има проследити неотворен преко аустријске територије, од улазне до излазне границе”. Након два дана стигла је препорука с врха да одмах испуни оно што му је наређено, и то под претњом санкција „које ће утолико бити ригорозније пошто је он високи официр”. На крају је дошло до потпуног преокрета ситуације и Кренајз је елегантно склоњен на неколико дана са свог места. Преко веза у обавештајним круговима убрзо је пуковник Кренајз сазнао да је у блиндираном вагону, због чијег су га проласка послали на службени пут, био главом и брадицом – друг Лењин. – Очигледно – записао је касније Емил – наредбодавац је био добро упознат са садржајем блиндираног вагона и имао је посебне разлоге да то остане у највећој тајности. Тек, ретки су Карловчани који знају да је овај негдањи аустријски официр и потоњи директор Дунавског паробродског друштва, а заправо сликар, виноградар и винар, живео у њиховој вароши, а још мање је оних који су о њему нешто више чули. Пре 12 година у Карловачком музеју приређена је изложба његових радова сакупљених из установа и приватних колекција, али се чини да то ипак није било довољно да се сагледа сва питорескност његове личности. Највећи корак у намери да не ишчезне сећање на њега начинила је написавши књигу “Одолели забораву” Мирјана Кончар - Ђурђевић, у чијој је породици у Карловцима пуковник боравио до смрти. Емил Кренајз је родом из Петроварадина, односно Мајура. Рођен је 1872. у скромној породици немачког занатлије. Завршио је Карловачку гимназију с одличним успехом и наставио школовање на Војној академији Аустроугарске монархије. Од малена је био заинтересован за свет око себе, а све што би му се током школовања у Карловцима и у Аустрији догађало, бележио је оловком и бојама на папирићима. Од сликарског прибора и платна није се одвајао до последњих тренутака у животу. Оставио је иза себе много недовршених слика, за које је пред смрт рекао да ће се „ваљда једном наћи неко ’мазало’ које ће их довршити”. Пејзаже је радио акверелом, мртве природе уљем, портрете оловком или пастелом. Није желео да излаже то што је радио из чистог задовољства, тако да је једина његова изложба заправо та, приређена у Карловачком музеју 1998. године. По завршетку војне Академије и као добар познавалац речних путева добио је место у у Одсеку речне флоте при Главном генералштабу у Бечу, где је живео. Први светски рат проводи у Бечу обављајући поменуте дужности начелника Општег одељења за транспорт при Главном генералштабу. Списи кажу да је помогао многим ратним заробљеницима, међу којима је било и доста Срба. Крајем рата одликован је за изузетну хуманост показану током рата високим признањем, оредном витеза Малтешког реда, на предлог Међународног Црвеног крста. Након рата почео је да ради у Београду у представништву Дунавског паробродског друштва, а живео је мало у престоници, а мало више у Сремским Карловцима: код рођака у породици Кончар - Ђурђевић, код Јелисавете и Које. Кућа у којој је живео у Карловцима, у Улици митрополита Стратимировића, данас припада породици Шовљански. Убрзо је отишао и у пензију, посветивши се лову, риболову, виноградарству и наравно, сликању. Револтиран политиком Аустрије која се приближавала Хитлеровој нацистичкој идеологији, одрекао се пензије. То је образложио тиме да од „нове власти у Аустрији, која је фашистичког опредељења, не жели да прима више ни један пфенинг”. Приликом пописа у Карловцима 1941. године изјаснио се као Југословен, а када су му рекли да то више не постоји, одговорио је да је онда – “нико”. Касније су му понудили да постане члан Културбунда, одбио је и казао да се сматра Југословеном. Након провере, поново су га позвали, на шта је он одговорио је:„Ја, додуше, јесам Емил Кренајз, али Југословен”, после чега су га оставили на миру. Током рата у кући у Карловцима са њим су биле Јелисавета и две старице. Јелисаветина деца и муж живели су у Беогаду. Вероватно је та чињеница, а потом и развој догађаја након рата, навео Карловчане на сумњу у природу Емиловог и Јелисаветиног односа. Њу, иначе, памте као жену изузетне лепоте и елеганције, а када говоре о њој и “онклу”, како су Емила сви звали, чине то са посебним призвуком у гласу. Педесетих година Емил Кренајз је добио од Секретаријата за народну одбрану СФРЈ решење о додели пуковничке пензије. Умро је 1954. године и сахрањен на православном делу гробља на Магарчевом брегу, у породичној гробници Кончар -Ђурђевић и породице Милошевић. Душан Мишковић је преживео све промене у сликарству и слободно изабрао онај свет уметности за који се определио од младости. Душан Мишковић - сликар (1915 - 1993) Биографија Душан Мишковић, сликар, родио се у Алексинцу 29. октобра 1915. године. Основну школу завршио је у Пироту, а гимназију и трговачку академију у Београду. Уметничку школу у Београду похађао је од 1935. до 1939. године код професора Бете Вукановић, Ивана Радовића, Љубе Ивановића и Николе Бешевића. У ликовном животу Београда присутан је од 1938. године. Излагао је на пролећним и јесењим изложбама југословенских уметника у Уметницком павиљону Цвијета Зузорић 1938, 1939. и 1940. године. После II светског рата, у периоду од 1948. до 1955. године Мишковић живи у Нишу, где оснива Школу примењених уметности у којој је радио као директор и предавач. 1955. године прелази у Београд , где живи и ради све до своје смрти 1993. године. У послератном периоду његово бављење сликарством добија пун интензитет. Излаже на многобројним излжбама у Беогарду и другим градовима Југославије. Учествује на изложбама УЛУС-а, Октобарском салону, изложбама ЛАДЕ, Изложби југословенског портрета, као и на изложбама атељеа АРС и на другим ликовним смотрама. У иностранству је излагао у Риму, Напуљу и Фиренци где на међународној изложби 1970. године добија златну медаљу за сликарство овог града. Излагао је и у Немачкој, Америци и Канади. Радови Душана Мишковића налазе се у Музеју савремене уметности у Београду, Народном музеју у Београду, Музеју града Београда, Музеју града Земуна, Народном музеју Ниша, Народном музеју Смедеревске Паланке, Завичајном музеју Алексинца и бројним установама и приватним колекцијама. Павле Васић, 1978: Душан Мишковић је преживео све промене у сликарству и слободно изабрао онај свет уметности за који се определио од младости. То су традиционални мотиви сликарства, интима и тиха зрачења бића и ствари везаних за наш круг, нас свакодневни живот, једном речју, уобичајене теме које до сада нису престале да буду занимљиве. Уметност је једна, али има хиљаду видова. Према томе, сликару је слободно да изабере пут који му највише одговара. У том оквиру Мишковић је развио своје уобичајене особине, аналитички колористички однос према свету, према пределу, стварима или човеку; непосредан без усиљавања да изгледа нешто друго него што јесте и што је био. Тај континуитет развоја и пута трпео је једва веће промена. Оне су се огледале махом у наглашавању фактуре, која је постала главни циљ апстрактном сликарству, па није мимоисла ни Мишковића у свом тријумфалном походу. Мишковић је остао везан за природу, присно и нераздвојно, до садасње изложбе... Срето Бошњак, ликовни критичар, 1978: Мајстор боје и атмосфере Сликар Душан Мишковић се формирао у духу оног интимистичко-поетског концепта који је карактерисао српску ликовну уметност с краја четврте деценије и у том духу оставио је неколико упечатљивих дела која, без обзира на младост уметника, сведоче о зрелости стваралачке свести и у исто време о њеној отворености за нове могућности. Инспирисан природом, њеним духом и њеним лепотама, он слику третира као изазов страсти и лепоте материје: полази од виђеног, али још више од доживљеног, стварајући префињене композиције и хроматске оркестрације. Облик није само визуелна чињница која се ослања на препознавање објективно постојећег, већ пре свега извориште слободне интерпретације доживљаја. Такав је и у пејзажима и миртвим природама, сличан је и у портрету, али оно што је битно за овај сликарски концепт, то је процес који боју, као средство израза, трансформише из визуелне у лирску духовну чињеницу. И по томе је Мишковић модеран сликар, без обзира на његово свесно ослањање на традицију. Паралелно са уљима, Мишковић стално, много и зналачки, из године у годину све зрелије, црта, све мање се ослањајући на објективне визуелне податке, а све више на свој унутрашњи свет, сан и подсвест; дух легенди и народног предања отварају нове димензије и у његовом цртежу и у његовој слици; у првом плану су пластичне вредности, светлост и боја, и облик који заједно чине нераскидиву целину. Светлост је услов дефинисања облика, али и више од тога - она је носилац лирске атмосфере слике, њено лице и њена душа. Боја, топла и зрела, покаткад пригушена, а покаткад звонка и отворена, час у густим наносима, час у танким лазурама, гради ону фину хармонијску целовитост сваког платна, пуно топлине и неког наглашеног јединства. др. Небо, тишина и простор јесу при том три основна садржаја која испуњавају завучене кутке обојене патином; простори који служе као сцена за одвијање медитација о суштинским питањима живота и смрти. На неки начин, Мишковић се у тој синтези још једном сећа неизбрисивог сусрета са сликарством Делакроа, па је тако један стваралачки круг затворен. Међутим, оно битно опредељење сликара, који уједно представља и његов највећи квалитет, јесте истанчано колористичко осећање, схватање да је слика - бојом испуњена површина. Без обзира што Мишковић, у зависности од мотива и тренутног расположења, мења повремено гаму, више или мање деформише цртеж и растаче форму, његова основна концентрација увек остаје на музикалној транспозицији мотива, на склапању акорда оплемењеног звука. У богатој оркестрацији најчесће доминирају посивели зелени, плави и црвени тонови, у комплементарном сазвучју са оптимистички ведрим окерима, или драматичним тамно-љубичастим, готово црним мрљама. Ипак, његова платна нису драматични сукоби маса, егзалтиране ескплозије нити фанфаре, већ деликатна колористичка ткања, чија је заједничка ознака одређена сиво-сребрнаста, помало опора гама. Сликарско дело Душана Мишковића још није завршено.
