There are various interviews on both shows. All live performances, suprisingly audible, emanating from an Australian Radio program. Cochran, Vincent, Richard, Haley, et. al, are all at their fighting weights, doing their hits the way we want to hear them. On one occasion, we are treated to a real time-capsule event: Mr. Eddie Cochran rocking with Little Richard`s band! Not sure if it`s the Artist Later To Be Known As The Architect on keyboard, but with Charles Connor providing that real rock drive, it`s too amazing to describe in 10,000 words. Richard gets down on his a current hit `Lucille`. Vocally, he`s very close to the record, but the band is even funkier, if you can imagine that. At one point, it seems that someone gets a little lost - perhaps the studio acoustics plus the audience made it difficult for the sidemen to hear - but the sound is unbelievable. Following that full performance, we hear a long and *serious* interview with a superstar obviously inent on changing directions musically, personally, and spiritually. It`s interesting that you can hear the 24-year old R & R Hero actually expound on that subject writers and the man himself have referred to: the `signs` in the sky for the secular world to behold and consider before it`s too late. Yes, Sputnik passed over Brisbane [Soccer] Stadium (?) and Richard was moved. In contrast to his ebullience on disc, he speaks in a soft, yet compelling way about his career path. One might expect him to sing a gospel tune at that point, but he launches into an arrangement of `Long Tall Sally` sounding alot more like the Specialty side `She`s Got It` - a bit more rockabilly. Yes, there aren`t many recorded examples of Richard with The Upsetters of the `50s, especially *live*. By the way, with all great respect to Amazon songlist above, Richard`s vocals are `Lucille` and `Sally`, only. The Host is quite respectful to the performers; asks intelligent questions. The interview with Eddie C. is quite extensive and informative. His voice is way up in the mix. All in all, a very surprising package, infinitely significant.

Petula Clark – Ultimate Petula Clark Made in U.S.A. Booklet na 16 strana. Booklet: 5 CD: 5- Label: BMG Heritage – 82876 51038-2, BMG Heritage – 82876-51038-2 Format: CD, Compilation Country: US Released: 2003 Genre: Pop Style: Ballad Petula Sally Olwen Clark, CBE (born 15 November 1932) is a British singer, actress, and songwriter. She has had one of the longest careers of a British singer, spanning more than seven decades. Clark`s professional career began during the Second World War as a child entertainer on BBC Radio. In 1954 she charted with `The Little Shoemaker`, the first of her big UK hits, and within two years she began recording in French. Her international successes have included `Prends mon coeur`, `Sailor` (a UK number one), `Romeo`, and `Chariot`. Hits in German, Italian and Spanish followed. In late 1964 Clark`s success extended to the United States with a four-year run of career-defining, often upbeat singles, many written or co-written by Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent. These songs include her signature song `Downtown`, `I Know a Place`, `My Love`, `A Sign of the Times`, `I Couldn`t Live Without Your Love`, `Who Am I`, `Colour My World`, `This Is My Song` (by Charles Chaplin), `Don`t Sleep in the Subway`, `The Other Man`s Grass Is Always Greener`, and `Kiss Me Goodbye`. In the US, Clark was sometimes called `the First Lady of the British Invasion`. Clark has sold more than 68 million records. She has also enjoyed success in the musical film Finian`s Rainbow and in the stage musicals The Sound of Music, Blood Brothers, Sunset Boulevard and Mary Poppins.

Early life Go Ahead on Baby by Sleepy LaBeef, Columbia late 1960s. LaBeef was born in Smackover, Arkansas,[2] the youngest of 10 children.[3] The family name was originally LaBoeuf.[4] He was raised on a farm growing cotton and watermelons, and received the nickname `Sleepy` because he had a lazy eye.[2] LaBeef became a fan of George Jones, Bill Monroe, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.[1] He learned guitar, and moved to Houston, Texas, when he was 18.[4] There, he sang gospel music on local radio and put together a bar band to play venues as well as radio programs such as the Houston Jamboree and Louisiana Hayride. LaBeef stood 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) tall.[3] Career In the 1950s, as the rockabilly component of rock and roll became evident, LaBeef began recording singles in the genre, initially credited as Sleepy LaBeff or Tommy LaBeff.[1] His first, `I`m Through`, was issued on Starday Records in 1957. In 1964, he moved to Nashville and moved to a more solidly country style, recording singles for Columbia Records. His first genuine hit was 1968`s `Every Day`, which peaked at No. 73 on the U.S. Billboard Country chart.[5] After moving to Plantation Records in 1969, he scored a second hit in 1971 with `Blackland Farmer`, which charted at No. 67.[5] He also played the role of the Swamp Thing in Ron Ormond`s 1968 B-movie, The Exotic Ones (also known as The Monster and the Stripper).[1] LaBeef transferred to Sun Records in the 1970s and continued releasing albums and touring widely; his popularity faded in the United States but rose in Europe.[6] The 1980s saw him sign to Rounder Records, where he released albums into the 1990s. As a musician, he was noted for his extensive repertoire, and for his live performances, at one time undertaking some 300 performances a year. He described the music he performed as `...root music: old-time rock-and-roll, Southern gospel and hand-clapping music, black blues, Hank Williams-style country. We mix it up real good.`[1] He toured regularly in Europe, and performed at many music festivals both in Europe and the US. In January 2012, LaBeef traveled to Nashville to record and film a live concert and record in historic RCA Studio B, all produced by noted bassist Dave Pomeroy. A documentary/concert DVD, Sleepy LaBeef Rides Again and the soundtrack CD was released on April 22, 2013, by Earwave Records.[7] His last performance was in September 2019.[1] He had heart bypass surgery in 2003. He died at his home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on December 26, 2019, at age 84.[1][8]

Odlicno ocuvano knjizica 5 Cd 4/4- ima par sitnih povrsinskih linijica koje ne uticu na reprodukciju zvuka, radi besprekorno Studio album by Def Leppard Released 20 January 1983 Recorded January–November 1982 Studio Parkgate, Sussex Battery, London Genre Glam metalhard rockheavy metal Length 44:57 Label Vertigo Producer Robert John `Mutt` Lange Def Leppard chronology High `n` Dry (1981) Pyromania (1983) Hysteria (1987) Pyromania is the third studio album by English rock band Def Leppard, released on 20 January 1983[2] through Vertigo Records in UK and Europe and through Mercury Records in the US. The first album to feature guitarist Phil Collen who replaced founding member Pete Willis, Pyromania was produced by Robert John `Mutt` Lange. The album was a shift away from the band`s traditional heavy metal roots toward a more radio-friendly sound, finding massive mainstream success. Pyromania charted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200,[3] No. 4 on the Canadian RPM Album chart and No. 18 on the UK Albums Chart.[4] Selling over ten million copies in the US, it has been certified diamond by the RIAA.[5] Recording The album followed an unusual method of recording: all guitars and bass parts were recorded to a click track provided by a LinnDrum (or LM-1) drum machine, with the drums being added last. This gave flexibility in changing the arrangements.[6][7] The album was partially recorded with original guitarist Pete Willis, whose rhythm guitar tracks appear on all songs. Toward the end of the recording, Willis was fired for alcohol abuse and replaced by guitarist Phil Collen, who contributed solos and guitar parts not yet recorded by Willis.[8] `I had all the fun stuff, none of the heavy lifting...` Collen remembered. `Pete and Steve [Clark] had done these amazing rhythm guitar beds, and it was a joy to whizz around and play solos over the top... Mutt [Lange] was going, `Just have fun: be a lead guitarist, go nuts.`[9] On the original LP release, Willis is visible in the background of the photograph of singer Joe Elliott, while Collen has his own photo as a new full-time member. The album can be seen as a transitional one between the heavy metal sound of Leppard`s first two albums and the radio-friendly direction of later releases.[10] It featured rockers such as `Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)`, `Stagefright` and `Die Hard the Hunter` as well as the Top 40 hits `Photograph`, `Rock of Ages` and `Foolin``.[11] Track listing Original release Side one No. Title Writer(s) Length 1. `Rock! He died at his home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas on December 26, 2019, at age 84.[1][8] Therman `Sonny` Fisher (November 13, 1931 in Chandler, Texas – October 8, 2005 in Houston, Texas) was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. He was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.

Original, made in USA Knjizica od 4 str. Odlicno ocuvano knjizica 5 Cd 5-/4+ Studio album by The O`Jays Released November 25, 1975 Recorded 1975 Studio Sigma Sound Studios, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Genre Philadelphia soul, R&B, Disco Length 44:06 Label Philadelphia International Records Producer Kenny Gamble, Leon Huff The O`Jays chronology Survival (1975) Family Reunion (1975) Message in the Music (1976) The album was released in late 1975 on the Philadelphia International Records label. Recorded at Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia, and produced by Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, Family Reunion includes the enduring classic `I Love Music` and `Livin` for the Weekend`, both of which topped the R&B singles chart, and placed at #5 and #20 respectively on the pop chart. The ballad `Stairway to Heaven`, originally issued as the B-side to `Livin` for the Weekend` and unrelated to the Led Zeppelin song of the same name, has also gone on to become a staple of quiet storm radio programming. While the title track did not chart, it still garnered airplay, as the lyrics (as well as the album artwork) focused on the importance of the family structure especially at gatherings.[3] Family Reunion became the group`s third consecutive R&B chart-topping album, and its #7 peak on the pop chart was their highest placing on this chart at the time (1978`s So Full of Love would peak one place higher). Family Reunion was awarded a Platinum Album for RIAA Certification of over one million copies sold All tracks are written by Gamble and Huff, except where noted [4]. Made in the U.S.A. Omot na 4 strane. Omot: 5 CD: 4+ Label: Columbia – CK 31350 Format: CD, Compilation, Reissue Country: US Genre: Rock Style: Folk Rock, Pop Rock Simon and Garfunkel`s Greatest Hits is the first compilation album from Simon & Garfunkel, which was released on June 14, 1972, two years after Simon & Garfunkel had parted ways. The album was a mix of original studio recordings and four previously unreleased live recordings. The album`s minimalist packaging does not specifically date the latter; however, the live versions of `For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her` and `Kathy`s Song` included on Greatest Hits were also included on the 2008 album Live 1969. The liner notes to Live 1969 state that these two songs were both recorded at a November 1969 concert in St. Louis, Missouri. According to the liner notes from Collected Works, however, the version of `Kathy`s Song` was taken from a 1968 concert in Vermont. In a 1975 BBC Radio 1 interview, Roy Halee identified this version of `The 59th Street Bridge Song` as being from Simon & Garfunkel`s 1970 performance at Carnegie Hall, `the last concert they did together` (prior to their disbanding later in 1970). A live version of `Homeward Bound` was also included on the album. The remaining ten studio songs comprise nine singles released between 1965 and 1972, `America` being issued as a single several years after its appearance as a track on the Bookends album, and one album track, `Bookends` (without its parent song `Old Friends`). All the singles included, except `America,` `El Condor Pasa (If I Could),` and `Scarborough Fair/Canticle` made the Top Ten, with the last peaking at No. 11. `Mrs. Robinson` topped the chart aided by its appearance in Mike Nichols` hit movie The Graduate. `The Sound of Silence` and `Bridge over Troubled Water` also peaked at No. 1 as singles in their studio versions, and `The Boxer` peaked as a single at No. 7. Reception Simon and Garfunkel`s Greatest Hits peaked on the U.S. albums chart at No. 5. On the UK Album Chart, it was a No. 2 hit. The album has proven a long and durable seller, currently being certified for 14 million units sold in the U.S. alone. It is easily their best-selling album in the U.S., and holds the record in the U.S. for the best-selling album by a duo. In 2003, the album was ranked No. 293 on Rolling Stone magazine`s list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
