Retki muški izvođači su u istoriji moderne muzike uspevali da spoje sofisticiranu senzualnost i kvalitet. Pored Marvin Gay-a, ćelavi pevač Errol Brown i njegovi HOT CHOCOLATE su jedni od retkih čije soul/funk numere su prosto `natoljene` seksom. Njihove ključne pesme `Emma` i `You Sexy Thing` su bile neizostavne na disco podijumima 70-ih širom sveta, a i danas su veoma slušane. Bend je oformljen početkom 70-ih, i tokom 10-ak godina karijere su snimili svega 8 albuma, ali i pregršt kultnih singlova. The Score was released worldwide on February 13, 1996, on Columbia Records. The album features a wide range of samples and instrumentation, with many aspects of alternative hip-hop that would come to dominate the hip-hop music scene in the mid-late 1990s.
