Alien vs. Predator; „Tuđin protiv Predatora”) je naučnofantastični-horor film iz 2004. reditelja i pisca Pola Vilijama Skota Andersona i glavnim ulogama koje igraju Sana Lejtan, Raul Bova, Lens Henriksen i Juan Bremner. Predstavlja prvi deo franšize Osmi putnik protiv Predatora, adaptirajući krosover okupljajući istoimena bića iz serija Osmi putnik i Predator, koncept nastao u stripu 1989. Anderson je priču napisao zajedno sa tvorcima franšize Osmi putnik, Denom O`Benonom i Ronaldom Šusetom, a Anderson i Šejn Salerno su priču prilagodili scenariju. Na njihovo pisanje uticali su astečka mitologija, serija stripova i spisi Eriha fon Denikena. U filmu su naučnici uhvaćeni u unakrsnoj vatri drevne bitke između vanzemaljaca i predatora dok pokušavaju da pobegnu iz prošle piramide. S obzirom da je vreme radnje 2004. godina (pre svih delova franšize Osmi putnik), mesto radnje je morala da bude izolovana lokacija, pošto u filmu Osmi putnik likovi ne znaju da Tuđini postoje, te je izabran Antarktik. Od likova iz prethodnih filmova oba serijala, jedino se Henriksen vratio u ulogu Bišopa. Sigorni Viver je svojevremeno izjavila da je srećna što se ne vraća u ulogu Elen Ripli i da je upravo zbog mogućnosti nastanka ovog filma tražila da njen lik bude ubijen u filmu Osmi putnik 3 (mada je oživela u filmu Osmi putnik 4: Vaskrsnuće), jer joj je sama ideja koncepta zvučala „odvratno”.[9][10] S druge strane, Arnold Švarceneger je prihvatio da se vrati u svoju ulogu majora Alana „Dača” Šefera, makar to bila i kameo uloga, ali pod uslovom da izgubi na izborima za guvernera Kalifornije. Pošto je pobedio na izborima, nije imao vremena da se bavi snimanjem, te je odustao od povratka.[11] Film Osmi putnik protiv Predatora je bio objavljen u bioskopima 12. avgusta 2004, dobio je negativne kritike i zaradio 177.4 miliona američkih dolara širom sveta nasuprot produkcijskom budžetu koji je iznosio 60—70 miliona američkih dolara.
