Versatile Micronair offer a choice of wind or electrically driven atomisers specifically developed for helicopters. The AU6539 electrically driven atomiser is recommended for operations requiring a low or variable airspeed that would make it difficult to maintain the correct rotational speed with wind-driven atomisers. Mounting clamps are supplied with the atomisers and are available for a wide range of round and streamline section spray booms. In addition to atomisers developed specifically for helicopters, Micronair AU5000 atomisers can be used on helicopters operating at higher airspeeds. See Micronair Product Selection Guide for further details. Light weight and low power requirement Micronair atomisers are designed for light weight and low drag to minimise their effect on helicopter performance. The AU6539 uses a highly efficient electric motor to give maximum output whilst keeping the electrical power consumption within the sometimes limited capability of small agricutural helicopters. Droplet size control The unique benefits of rotary atomisation ensure that where required a maximum number of low-drift droplets are created. However, where an operator requires application equipment suitable for drift spraying (for example in locust or migrant pest control), the unique flexibility of Micronair atomisers offers operators the ability to create smaller droplets as required. At all rates of application the Micronair helicopter range of atomisers allows the operator to control the droplet size to a very narrow spectrum. The droplet size is varied by adjusting the rotational speed of the atomiser. This is achieved by means of an optional electronic speed controller for up to six AU6539 atomisers. Cost effective In an industry where time is money, the benefits of increased work rates through accurate and effective application can quickly be realised from reduced flying time. Precise flow control and liquid shut-off The flow to each atomiser is controlled by a variable restrictor unit (VRU). This provides finger-tip control of the flow by the simple turn of a knob and eliminates the need to dismantle or change individual restrictor orifices. Overall flow from the helicopter is regulated by the boom pressure in exactly the same way as a conventional spray system. Every atomiser is supplied with a diaphragm check-valve to ensure immediate shut-off of chemical at the end of each spray run. Specifications - Drive: Electric Motor - Power Requirement: 24/28 V DC @ 6 A maximum - Weight: 2 Kg (4.4 lb) complete with mounting bracket - Mounting: By streamlined mounting clamp - specify boom size and profile when ordering - Liquid throughput: 0 - 3 L/min (0 - 0.8 USG/min) per atomiser - Flow control: By variable restrictor unit - Chemical shut off: By diaphragm check valve - Rotational speed: Adjustable by optional speed controller: 1,000 - 11,000 RPM max - Operating airspeed: Unrestricted - Droplet size: Variable between 45 - 120 microns VMD

AeroShell Grease 58 possesses outstanding combination high performance characteristics including corrosion protection, mechanical stability, oxidation resistance and wear resistance, with a useful operating temperature range of -54°C to +175°C (-65°F to +347°F). AeroShell Grease 58 surpasses all requirements for exposure to runway de-icing fluid and salt water and is the first grease to meet and exceed all requirements of the SAE AMS 3058 testing procedure. In addition, AeroShell Grease 58 exhibits superior ‘wash out’ resistance, ensuring the grease remains in place for longer, removing the risk of key components being directly exposed to these harsh environments. With its lithium complex base, AeroShell Grease 58 does not soften or harden excessively when worked or sheared. Its load carrying capacity is particularly notable. The second the wheels touch the runway, the combined weight of the aircraft and external forces are all resting on the steel bearings that support the wheels. AeroShell Grease 58 exhibits almost 60% more load carrying capacity through remaining in contact with the bearing rollers and track. It is recommended for use wherever severe operating conditions are encountered as in high bearing loads, high speeds, wide operating temperature range, and particularly where long grease retention and high resistance to water washout and corrosive fluids are required. AeroShell Grease 58 is the latest member of the AeroShell Lithium Complex Grease portfolio which includes AeroShell Greases 33 and 64. The wide range of applications include aircraft wheel bearings, engine accessories, control systems, actuators, screw-jacks, servo mechanisms and electric motors, helicopter rotor bearings, instruments, airframe lubrication, hinge pins, static joints, and landing gears.

The AXP340 transponder is a panel-mounted Class 1 Mode S Level 2 Datalink Transponder, with support for 1090MHz Extended Squitter (ES), that meets all the current requirements for Mode S elementary surveillance transponders for both IFR and VFR flight. As a slide-in replacement for existing KT76A/KT78A transponders, the AXP340 is designed to easily upgrade existing Mode A/C equipment to Mode S, while adding additional functionality like a Direct-entry Numeric Keypad, Pressure Altitude & GPS Lat/Lon readout, Flight ID entry, one-touch VFR code entry, an easy-to-use Stop Watch Timer, Flight Timer, and Altitude Alerter. Meeting the Mandate for ADS-B The AXP340 also supports the latest Version 2 1090 MHz Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) Extended Squitter, known as “ADS-B out”. Equipping with ADS-B Out will be required in most U.S. airspace by 2020. The AXP340, when linked to a suitable GPS receiver, transmits position information to appropriately-equipped ground stations and other aircraft. This provides improved airborne surveillance, provides vital information for airport ground surveillance, and is a key feature of future airspace plans. The AXP340 provides an affordable and lightweight Mode S Surveillance and ADS-B Out solution for fixed wing and helicopter operators. The AXP340 is a slide-in replacement for the venerable KT76A transponder, making it a great choice for upgrades, as well as for new installations. (Additional wiring required for ADS-B functionality.) The Mode S Advantage The AXP340 delivers 240 Watts of transmitter power, and responds to both legacy Mode A/C interrogations and to Mode S interrogations from both ground radar and airborne collision avoidance systems. In the Mode S environment (S stands for Select), a Mode S interrogator can selectively address a single transponder. This allows accurate position plotting with lower reply rates, which in turn reduces frequency congestion and interference. Your 1090Mhz ADS-B Solution Coupled with any of Avidyne‘s TAS600A ADS-B capable Traffic Advisory Systems, the AXP340 provides full ADS-B surveillance capability to meet the upcoming mandates for flight internationally and above and below FL180 in the U.S. The AXP340 transmits the required ADS-B Out signals including your aircraft’s GPS-derived position, along with ground track, ground speed and altitude information. The TAS600A provides ADS-B In, allowing you to receive the ADS–B signals from ground radar and from other 1090MHz ADS-B – equipped aircraft and display both ADS-B and non-ADS-B traffic simultaneously for optimal situational awareness and safety. The AXP340 & TAS600A combine to provide complete 1090MHz ADS-B solution. ADS-B & TAS traffic can be displayed on a wide range of displays including Avidyne’s EX600 and MHD300 (shown here), providing the highest level of situational awareness and safety. AEROSHELL OILS W80 Plus and W100 Plus Superior rust and corrosion protection giving that extra protection to engine parts that may be susceptible to extreme rusting when an aircraft is not in use. AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W 80 Plus - The Premium Single Grade Aviation Oils. .Single Grade Ashless Dispersant Engine Oils: AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W 80 Plus are new single grade oils that combine proven AeroShell ashless dispersant technology with advanced antiwear additives. They are the oils for pilots who want a single grade that delivers extra protection and performance. AeroShell Oil W 100 Plus and W 80 Plus brings together the best qualities of two of the world's best-selling four cycle aviation oils. They have the single grade, ashless dispersant performance found in AeroShell W 100 and W 80 and the anti-wear/anti-corrosion additives of AeroShell Oil W 15W 50 Multigrade. Their single grade heritage means outstanding resistance to heat, especially in the summer months. Their ashless dispersant formulation helps reduce deposits of harmful metallic ash in combustion chambers. And their advanced additives work against rust, corrosion and wear in a way no other single grade does. There are simply no better single grade aviation oils Specifications - Lycoming Service Bulletin 446C and 471, plus Service Instruction 1409A - MIL-L-22851(obsolete) - SAE J 1899 - Continental recommended - FAA Airworthiness Directive 80-04-03 - AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W80 Plus are the only single grade oils blended with this antiwear additive technology. That means that owners of Lycoming model engines, specified in the applicable service bulletin, don't have to add any supplemental additives to the oil. - AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W80 Plus can be used in any certified engine, this includes: Lycoming; Continental; Pratt & Whitney radial and most radical, opposed or in-line engines. - AeroShell Oill W100 Plus and W80 Plus are not recommended for use in helicopter with a common sump for the engine and transmission. The anti-wear additives makes the oil more slippery than regular single grades. This can cause the transmission to slip. The product is not recommended for the breaking in of a new engine for the same reason. Benefits Superior rust and corrosion protection giving that extra protection to engine parts that may be susceptible to extreme rusting when an aircraft is not in use (for prolonged periods of non-use please use AeroShell Fluid 2F). Improved anti-wear characteristics particularly at engine start-up and eliminates the need for supplemental additives required by certain Lycoming engines. AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W80 Plus already contain the Lycoming additive LW 16702 in the correct proportions and meets Lycoming requirements as well as the US Federal Aviation Authority Airworthiness directive 80-04-03. Promotes Engine Cleanness. The non-ash forming, polymeric additive was developed to help eliminate the harmful combustion chamber and spark plug deposits that form during normal operation. High Viscosity Index Base Oils used in AeroShell W oils maintain their viscosity and help protect engine components more effectively under the high shear stresses that an engine places on lubricants. Provides Compatibility with other approved aircraft piston engine oils. Mixing with other products, however will result in some loss of the superior performance features of AeroShell Oil W100 Plus and W80 Plus.

Product Overview The all new ARTEX ELT 4000 is a transport-grade Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) that utilizes alkaline batteries. This innovative power source means that the ELT 4000 is completely exempt from FAA special condition requirements. ARTEX ELT 4000 cost of ownership benefits include a lower battery expense per cycle, no hazmat shipping and easy disposal. An integrated NAV interface (ARINC429) omits the requirement and expense of installing a separate NAV interface unit. How the ARTEX ELT 4000 works The ARTEX ELT 4000 can be activated manually (via cockpit remote switch) or automatically (the G-Switch senses a 2.3G or greater impact), and alerts the closest Search and Rescue agency of an emergency. The 406 MHz signal, containing the aircraft GPS coordinates, is transmitted to the Cospas-Sarsat satellites and relayed to the Mission Control Center where it is immediately routed to the nearest Search and Rescue agency. The beacon will provide first responders with the exact location to within 100 meters. Finally, the 121.5 MHz homing signal assists Search and Rescue ground forces with finding the location of the emergency. Ease of Installation and Retrofit The ARTEX ELT 4000 provides a quick-and-easy retrofit opportunity with flexible installation options such as a two-wire remote switch that does not require any aircraft power. ELT 4000 is TSO approved with Legacy Switch and Antenna Systems to facilitate retrofit. Because it is a single output ELT, the ARTEX ELT 4000 utilizes the same RF output and only one coax cable to transmit both 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz signals. The built-in navigation interface reduces the need to mount a secondary external interface, greatly reducing the cost of installation. The mounting tray assembly matches the legacy ARTEX C and B Series ELT installation and thereby further reduces engineering costs.
