AIRMATE-USB 8 channel (with 6 triple and 2 dual inputs) radio production console, Model 2012 6x Mic inputs, 12x stereo line inputs, 4x inserts on Mic input 1-4, 2x USB stereo send/return, 2x Telephone Hybrids. We designed the Airmate-USB to fulfil the requirements for a high grade low cost radio production mixer. Built around well proven low noise circuitry, this console is the reliable workhorse for the self-op production D.J. that needs an internal Telephone Hybrid (2x) and USB connection to the PC (e.q. for streaming to the web). A heavy duty 19" rack mounted RF shielded chassis houses 8 vertical triple input modules giving flexibility rarely found in a mixer of this type. Six input channels with high quality balanced microphone inputs on XLR and two stereo line level inputs on Cinch (RCA) connectors. Every Mic input has an insert for signal processors. And... every line level line B input can be converted into a phono (grammophone) channel by simply fitting an optional stereo R.I.A.A. equalized phono pre-amp. EXTENSIVE MASTER SECTION FOCUSED ON RADIO. This new Airmate-USB model has 6 balanced mic inputs (+48 phantom is standard) with insert, 12 stereo line inputs, 2x USB and 2x Telephone Hybrids. Channel 5 and 6 have Mic/Line and USB interface to transfer audio from and to your PC. Channel 7 and 8 have, apart from the stereo line input, also RJ-11 connectors to interface with a POT (Plain Old Telephone) line and a Telephone appliance to dial the number you want to reach. High quality built in Hybrids with R (trimmer on the surface) and C balance (switch on the surface) and direct Connection and Talkback buttons in the Hybrid channels makes a conversation with listeners very easy. With the Telco Send (level to the caller) and Telco Gain (level coming from the caller) all levels can be easy adjusted. But be always aware of the fact that the RC balance has to be adjusted once to create a clean telephone signal send and receive. The manual will give info about this pretty simple procedure. The front panel ON switch is wired in series with the built in mechanical fader start enabling selection of start either by fader or hard start via the ON switch. Faderstart generates in the Mic mode a Mic-on sig­nalling to switch on ON-Air lights. There is a 3 band Equalizer on channel 1-6. The stereo Aux send can be set pre or post fader. All mic inputs have low cut jumpers. A clean feed send is available for external Hybrids. NOW IS THE TIME TO INSTALL YOUR OWN PRODUCTION ROOM. The Airmate-USB has the usual master controls such as stereo master faders, stereo Aux send and return, monitor master with "follow phones" and a phones output with a split control function. There is a balance control to continuously adjust the volume between main output and stereo Cue signal. In addition, there is a special Radio On-air/production section featuring; Self­op switching to automatically cut control room level when the D.J. mic is active; a Clean feed output to also drive an external Telephone Hybrid for talk shows and interviews, if you need more Hybrid channels than the 2 built in ones; a special announcer output that normally follows main output but can be switched so that the main output, or any cue signal that is selected, can be heard when in the "follow phones" mode. A large Talkback switch activates the built-in electret talkback microphone for easy communication with the Clean-feed output, Aux output and/or Announcer output. The Airmate-USB is designed to be the focal point for local radio production work in the studio or at home. It’s compre­hensive, yet understandable features make it the ideal companion for rapid on-the-spot radio programmes. Small, reliable and 19" rack mounting ideal for production rooms. Furman AP-230 is noise sniffer that provides an analysis of noise power which can be heard. The device is used for detecting disturbance such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) on the power grid. These disturbances can affect electrical circuits because of either their electromagnetic radiation or electromagnetic induction. These disturbances may detain, disrupt, limit, or lower the effective performance of the device. They can cause simple degradation of data or even, a total loss of data. However, by using the Furman AP-230 noise sniffer, all of these disturbances can be detected to prevent the users from the risk of any loss that may occur. For rear rack illumination, Furman AP-230 uses gooseneck lamp which is a kind of light fixture where a lamp is attached to an adjustable and flexible shaft. It allows the users to place the light source without making any movement to the item or fixture that they will illuminate. The gooseneck lamp used by Furman AP-230 is the lamp with a voltage of 12 volt and a current of 1.5 amp. Furthermore, Furman AP-230 also sports Series Mode Protection (SMP) and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT). It gets noise attenuation of 10dB at 10 kHz, 40 dB at 100 kHz and 100 dB at 10 MHz. The ultra-compact XB-10 is perfect for small radeo or internet broadcast studios, college and university radeo stations, podcasting, content creation and more. Despite its tiny footprint, XB-10 is packed with the kinds of specialised broadcast features that normally come at a much higher price. Output Limiter A variable limiter ensures the level does not exceed a pre-defined level. Back panel option switches allow the limiter to be bypassed. A trim pot is used to vary the threshold and an LED on the front panel indicates when the limiter has triggered. CompACT Compressor XB-10 features our ComPACT compressor on each of its mic channels. CompACT (Adaptive Compression Technology) is a program-dependent audio leveller. Unlike other compressors, which are effective only at reducing loud sounds, CompACT combines both downward and upward compression with peak limiting. The WEBSTATION is ideal for ON-AIR, Production work and perfect for streaming to the web. The WEBSTATION accepts and instantly controls a maximum of 3 in/out stereo channels from your Play-out software. It is built into a heavy duty metal RF shielded chassis. Easily “drops” into your furniture to give that exciting radio look. Build with a strong powder coated front panel for durability and it is the result of more than 48 years of experience at D&R's research and development department. MIC, LINE, USB and Internal VoIP The WEBSTATION mixer has 2 balanced, phantom powered mic inputs with inserts for voice processors. Six stereo line inputs, 3x USB channels and 1x Telephone VOIP channel. If you want to connect an analog phone line, the Cleanfeed output can be connected to an external Hybrid. Only one physical USB connection is the interface to transfer 3 stereo audio channels + VoIP signal from and to your PC and also includes all data from the control section and the software meter application. The VoIP Channel 6 is at the same time also routed to the main USB connector. Talk back to the VOIP channel is by pushing both "Mic CUE" and "VoIP CUE" to make conversation with callers very easy prior to broadcasting. The Webstation has a very musical 2 band equalizer. High quality low noise mic inputs with built in low cut filters and software switchable phantom powering on board. Straight Forward Master Section The WEBSTATION’s modules can be easily tailored to your own needs with the included software program page shown below. All 6 modules have their own page, where you can program Cue reset enabled by Line, Mic, Fader, On etc. The Mic On busses (for your ON-AIR light) can be enabled by Line or Mic or USB. A great feature is the ability to program your own switch colors, activate the CRM mute module and program the Studio Remote. Additionally if you want your Phantom power on or off this is individually programmable per channel. All personal settings can be stored(write) and loaded (read). See how in the the configuration manager shown below. Also the master section has various options to fine trim the mixer to your needs. On th left you see the software pages that can be programmed by yourself and it gives you an overview of its possibilities. There are settings that adjust the Silence Detection with parameters for Threshold, Interval time and the source. You can even program the switch colors you personally like. Also the CUE bus can be set to behave interlocking, which means that when you select another CUE the earlier selected CUE automatically switches off. Don't let the simple lay-out fool you, there is much going on beneath the front panel to make your life easier as DJ!
