We designed the Airmate-USB to fulfil the requirements for a high grade low cost radio production mixer. Built around well proven low noise circuitry, this console is the reliable workhorse for the self-op production D.J. that needs an internal Telephone Hybrid (2x) and USB connection to the PC (e.q. for streaming to the web). A heavy duty 19" rack mounted RF shielded chassis houses 8 vertical triple input modules giving flexibility rarely found in a mixer of this type. Six input channels with high quality balanced microphone inputs on XLR and two stereo line level inputs on Cinch (RCA) connectors. Every Mic input has an insert for signal processors. And... every line level line B input can be converted into a phono (grammophone) channel by simply fitting an optional stereo R.I.A.A. equalized phono pre-amp. EXTENSIVE MASTER SECTION FOCUSED ON RADIO. This new Airmate-USB model has 6 balanced mic inputs (+48 phantom is standard) with insert, 12 stereo line inputs, 2x USB and 2x Telephone Hybrids. Channel 5 and 6 have Mic/Line and USB interface to transfer audio from and to your PC. Channel 7 and 8 have, apart from the stereo line input, also RJ-11 connectors to interface with a POT (Plain Old Telephone) line and a Telephone appliance to dial the number you want to reach. High quality built in Hybrids with R (trimmer on the surface) and C balance (switch on the surface) and direct Connection and Talkback buttons in the Hybrid channels makes a conversation with listeners very easy. With the Telco Send (level to the caller) and Telco Gain (level coming from the caller) all levels can be easy adjusted. But be always aware of the fact that the RC balance has to be adjusted once to create a clean telephone signal send and receive. The manual will give info about this pretty simple procedure. The front panel ON switch is wired in series with the built in mechanical fader start enabling selection of start either by fader or hard start via the ON switch. Faderstart generates in the Mic mode a Mic-on sig­nalling to switch on ON-Air lights. There is a 3 band Equalizer on channel 1-6. The stereo Aux send can be set pre or post fader. All mic inputs have low cut jumpers. A clean feed send is available for external Hybrids. NOW IS THE TIME TO INSTALL YOUR OWN PRODUCTION ROOM. The Airmate-USB has the usual master controls such as stereo master faders, stereo Aux send and return, monitor master with "follow phones" and a phones output with a split control function. There is a balance control to continuously adjust the volume between main output and stereo Cue signal. In addition, there is a special Radio On-air/production section featuring; Self­op switching to automatically cut control room level when the D.J. mic is active; a Clean feed output to also drive an external Telephone Hybrid for talk shows and interviews, if you need more Hybrid channels than the 2 built in ones; a special announcer output that normally follows main output but can be switched so that the main output, or any cue signal that is selected, can be heard when in the "follow phones" mode. A large Talkback switch activates the built-in electret talkback microphone for easy communication with the Clean-feed output, Aux output and/or Announcer output. The Airmate-USB is designed to be the focal point for local radio production work in the studio or at home. It’s compre­hensive, yet understandable features make it the ideal companion for rapid on-the-spot radio programmes. Small, reliable and 19" rack mounting ideal for production rooms. The Laserworld CS-2000RGB is a RGB laser system with a total output power of up to 2,000mW. The red deode laser module with a wavelength of 650nm, the green DPSS laser module with a wavelength of 532nm and the royal-blue deode laser module with a wavelength of 445nm ensure brilliant colors and powerful laser beams. The projector has good beam specifications with a beam diameter of about 3mm and beam divergence of 2.0mrad. At the same time it offers a galvo system with up to 30kpps as well as a scan angle of up to 40°. The Laserworld CS-2000RGB has a professional ILDA interface. Thus own or pre-programmed lasershows can be shown by use of a laser control software, e.g. of Phoenix or Pangolin. Through DMX about 200 preset patterns, like waves, tunnels, circles etc. can be projected in different colors and in a various speed. The API Model 500VPR is powered externally by a tri-polar power supply and is designed to accept API standard format 5.25" X 1.5" modules. The MS1224 is a 12 channel, 1 into 4 Unity Gain Active Microphone Splitter designed for applications where multiple feeds are required from one set of microphones without the signal degradation experienced with passive splitting solutions. The Unity Gain design principle combined with excellent line driving ability ensures that unity levels are delivered at the end of each feed, even over considerable distance, thereby saving time in recalibrating levels. Each of the MS1224's channels has four independently buffered, transformer balanced outputs and a fifth dedicated parallel Link output. The Link output may be used to provide a direct, non active feed, for instance to the FOH console, or it can be used to daisy chain adjacent channels to provide more output feeds from a single microphone, for instance for Press Box applications. The inputs are electronically balanced with a Pad switch for connection of line level signals. Switchable Phantom Power is provided with a Phantom Presence LED. The MS1224 incorporates a channel monitoring circuit, which is accessed on the PSU unit. Each channel has a Listen button that connects it momentarily both to an LED bargraph and headphone socket on the PSU front panel. The headphone monitor circuit incorporates a dynamics enhancement and protection system. This controls the dynamics of the signal in a way that amplifies very low background levels whilst limiting high signal levels. This enables monitoring of microphone function during set up without the need of a vocalist being present on the mic. It also provides user protection against sudden loud signals. A unique design feature of the MS1224 is the option to configure the way that Input and Output connectors are presented on the front and rear of the unit. As each customer has their own views on this we have given the flexibility of presenting the Input and two Outputs on the front and three Outputs on the rear, or vice-versa. In addition the Output designated as Link can be positioned either below the Input connector, or the top connector of the group of three Outputs. Thereby giving four possible permutations. The required configuration can simply be reconfigured at a later stage.

Austrian Audio microphones are rigorously tested on state-of-the-art measurement systems and precision matched to within a stringent 1dB tolerance — which means that with two of these excellent microphones, you can confidently implement stereo techniques such as Spaced Pair (A/B), X-Y (including Blumlein), ORTF array, Mid-Side (MS), and Spaced Omni (with or without a center mic). It's worth noting that a single OC818, with its two separate XLR outputs, is a stereo microphone in and of itself. But with two OC818s, your options expand exponentially. Dual mode and PolarDesigner The second output on the back of the OC818 delivers the signal from the rear capsule membrane, while the front membrane is output via the normal XLR plug. Simply plug in the OCC8 mini XLR cable supplied with your OC818 and set the polar pattern switch to the cardioid setting (the center position with the dual-cardioid icon). The OC818 will now work in Dual mode, with both capsule diaphragms being routed independently. In dual mode, you can record the two signals to separate tracks and use the PolarDesigner plug-in to subsequently modify the polar pattern in post production.
